will help his development. he would have been one of crows best next year

Need a half backman with good skills and pace, and we probably need one more big key backman. If we got Gunston and traded Hansen for one of these that would be ideal.

There is no Melbourne based team before Adelaide in next years draft. Adelaide is spewing and may just re draft him to flower him over.

There is precedent to this by the Crows similar in the way they re drafted Scott Hodges prior to the Power's inception.

Word is that Stephen Trigg teed off at Gunston (in a rather heated exchange) prior to the Club Champion award night and told him he was not welcome after learning of Jack's decision. The irony is that Jack had indeed been awarded the Mark Bickley Award for the best first year player who most represented the team's CRUSH criterion.
It was the 'H' in the CRUSH that lead team officials to strip Jack of his ward and give it to Daniel Talia instead. The 'H' stands for 'honesty' and Stephen Trigg, amongst others, felt that Jack had not been honest with them until the eleventh hour  >:(

What would Adelaide want from the Roos to get Gunston, he looks like a good young player. I'd be fine to give Hansen for him  8)

Adelaide will get screwed over... He'll nominate a club and they will get flower all for him... They can re-draft him but you really think they will waste a spot on a player who doesn't want to be there? No chance.

I think they'll get a deal done. Not necessarily an ideal trade, but would be surprised if they just let him go. Agree though that we wouldnt re-draft him..

Pretty unlikely FG, there's enough interest I think. We'll know in a couple of weeks either way. ;)
