No, Valk likes Clarke and wants to keep him but the only trade for him that would be somewhat acceptable would be O'Meara. That is what he is saying.

Yes, I am saying that the only trade I would accept for Zac is for pick #1 in the mini-draft... which we would then use to secure the Jaeger Bomb

With Chad & Broges to GWS a big whisper coming out is that Kane will go know & Port may get the No 1 Pick & will use it on the Jaeger Bomb. If not Kane another whisper is Pearce. As said a whisper. Sheeds has already mentioned this elsewhere. Will try & find the link re Kane somewhere.

I don't see the big deal in zac clarke?

He is a mobile big man which is the way that the Ruck is going.  Sandi is a freak and dominates because of his size but look at all the ruckman emerging - they are all mobile.
I guess. From what i've seen though his skills aren't great.
I'm most likely wrong but  :P
I've been tracking him (Z Clarke) a bit since Harvey put him in the midfield while Sandi rucked in the pre-season (rd1 NAB cup lightning carnival style) game against the Hawks. I think he has the potential to be Goodes-like rucking and running thru the middle and ending up forward. Really emerged with that NAB rising star nomination game of his ...

I doubt there is any way Freo would trade him for Mitch - Jaeger, might depend on ruck support for Sandi with news reports saying Griffin wants to go home - I think he sees the writing on the wall with Zac emerging ...

Ringo, how are they letting McAuley and McCullough go?? with Mitch wanting to leave are they putting ruck all in on the Berger??  :o

[/quote] This was my thoughts exactly especially McAuley as he looked good in the first three games and then disappeared. Maybe a trade will be done or something come up in draft but can not see anything on the horizon.  Berger is one of our most improved and only 23 but if he gets injured  :-X

i feel sorry for the likes of Andrew Swallow, Daniel Wells, Bryce Gibbs, Brett Deledio, Mathew Boyd who are getting simualr wages to guys like palmer. Even worse is the money on scully, folau and especially hunt. If i were one of these guys i would be pretty annoyed, at least ablett is somewhat worth the money he is being paid.

Chopps

remember foloua and hunt arent being paid for their abilitity to play AFL, simply there ability to draw crowds in rugby territory

i understand that but i would still be annoyed if i were an afl star. Probably more so with guys like scully though.

end of first round pick for Palmer

Which is what I predicted.  This is a win for Freo as we wouldnt have got that if we had of traded him elsewhere

yeah, he was on the way out anyway - this way you guys get something for him.

Valk, were you too busy to play bass on McPharlin's newly released single??   ;)

It ended up being a family affair.  The brothers from the band Stella's Kitchen got the gig.  The singer (Dan) has his own studio and that is where Luke recorded all the tracks.  The guitarist (Jon) and bass (Dom) are playing for Luke.  I am not sure if the drummer (Carlo) is playing for Luke as well.
