I have always said that Palmer is a great inside mid and should be used in that type of role - extract the ball and give to your outside mids who can deliver the ball (Hill, Fyfe etc). If Sheedy uses him in this role then I think he will be worth the money.

I am starting to get worried about the Mitch Clark deal. I honestly hope we dont pay overs for him - we DEFINITELY SHOULDN'T be putting Zac up for any trade (except maybe to get O'Meara)

No, Valk likes Clarke and wants to keep him but the only trade for him that would be somewhat acceptable would be O'Meara. That is what he is saying.

Yes, I am saying that the only trade I would accept for Zac is for pick #1 in the mini-draft... which we would then use to secure the Jaeger Bomb

Thanks for the confirmation Valk. Heard this trade mentioned over a week ago but unable to find any concrete evidence to post. With the retirement of Charmo and if Clarke goes to Freo our ruck division is the Burger, McAuley and McCulluogh both of whom are still on the rookie list hence the demand for Zac by Brisbane. In Mitch"s absence for the last couple of weeks back up ruck duties were performed by McKeever. maybe there may have to be a three way trade to get another Ruck to Brisbane. Bribane Club Dinner is on Saturday night for your info so may be announcements next week!!!

He is a mobile big man which is the way that the Ruck is going. Sandi is a freak and dominates because of his size but look at all the ruckman emerging - they are all mobile.

I guess. From what i've seen though his skills aren't great.
