Yeah, I agree as well. Essendon did not have any stand out players this year. I also think Luke Ball ahs had a good season and should have been nominated.

I wouldn't have thought Betts or Swallow would have made it.

same here plenty of other players that had more impact than Betts this year.

Yeah I don't think anyone from essendon has been outstanding this year..mabye Watson if he played more games. Luke Mcpharlin is a interesting choice.

Walker definately deserved to make the cut.

Another example of the bullshower AFL commission making another bullshower decision.

Wells deserves to be there btw, betts does not.

It's been pointed out that Selwood only played 1 more game than Watson and got in :P. So wonder where they draw the line on how many games they must have played as Watson was certainly a standout when fully fit at the start. But agree, nobody else from the Bombers deserved to be considered.
