News from the AFL is the Gold Coast have axed 8 players including - Nathan Ablett and Michael Croad. Now why Ablett didnt have the best season Michael Croad? really?. Also being axed was my smokie rookie for next year Roland Ah Chee.

Marc Lock, Jack Stanlake, Jake Crawford, Jack Stanley and Joel Tippett were also axed

im really suprised about coad tho.. didnt think he would go.
must have been a bad hammy tear unless they have culled him
only to pick him up again with a draft pick

Bear in mind the GC are only following the AFL directive for clubs to delist a number of players at Seasons end. In all probability some of these no doubt will be picked up during the draft if still available. Like you Coad is the one that really surprises me others I can accept.  Hutchens probably should have been delisted ahead of Coad.

i dont rate tippet.. id rather someone better if we were to trade out day for him
