maybe there should be a break for every team before finals

AFL season starts to stretch out to long then, with an extra team coming in next year that would never happen.
Remember this Davoo the AFL dont give a fat rats clacker about fantasy footy and to be honest nor should they.

Correct me if I am wrong!
Last year with 16 teams head to head started rd 4 > 18.  Finals 19 > 22.
This year because of Bye head > head started rd1.
With GWS coming in could revert back to that OR if they expanded the head > head to 18 teams in fantasy they could start head > head in rd 2?

Last round of the season and I finally get to say it...

FMDT! I actually didn't get Buddy at the start of the year because I thought he would be rested against G.C. Shame my crystal ball didn't include Birchall. So I'm going into the G.F with no trades and a backline missing Birch and Lower with no cover thanks to Jacobs being out and Hep having the bye.

On the plus side my opponent has Fyfe, Buddy and Rioli out with only Lobbe as cover so I just have to hope he's been as bad with his trades as me...

Hope the Hawkas tear up Geelong next week!

2 weeks ago I was looking quite happy and then it started going wrong ...... Fyfe, Franklin, Sylvai, Hodge, Birchall, Buckley, Jacobs, Howard Hibbard, Bailey. Thats 10 players. 33 - 10 = 23. The extra player is Lobbe in the ruck no benifit. So I can just field 22 for the GF - fat chance from going a little behind to a carnage in the matter of one selection table!!!!!!!!!

I posted a topic in SC Leagues (sorry for swearing to those DT'rs that are sensitive) and theres been a bit of info posted in there as to size of leagues , number of players and byes etc but nothing on season length mate. Keep an eye on it for updates as some posters reckon they have credible information. The Topic is "How will it work next year"

I'm certain that I heard that it will be going back to a 22 rd season next year with no byes. I'd put money on it bc I'm so certain I heard that on the radio

Regarding the season length - Chatters24 is correct, 22 rounds next season.
