Hussey'll have to bat with the tail again

Hahahaha. Jinxed him. Next ball:

29.3
Herath to Hussey, OUT, appeal for a catch at forward short leg, Hussey pushes forward, and it turns to loop off the pad in front of short leg who dives forward to snap it up low, Sri Lanka go for the review, replays show that the ball seemed to have brushed the glove on its way up after hitting the flap of the pad, Hussey walks off disappointed
MEK Hussey c Paranavitana b Herath 15 (37b 1x4 0x6) SR: 40.54

Hahahaha.

PowerBug

Haddin out for nothing:

31.2
Herath to Haddin, OUT, Herath has one more, straight to Mahela at slip, tossed up fullish on leg, Haddin presses forward, it turns sharply to take a feather on its way to Mahela
BJ Haddin c DPMD Jayawardene b Herath 0 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Aussies collapsing.

Maca24

Time to bring in Tim Paine.  :-X

PowerBug

When has Haddin made runs?

Once during the Ashes, once. And that was only because he copied Hussey's moves.

Maca24

He is a good player. But Paine will be much better, and is a lot younger.
Surely they will wake up and realise it.
Good to see Clarke finally make some runs..

PowerBug

And Ponting's catch. What a ripper! Clarky should be scoring, he's the spin specialist.

6/115 at stumps. Khawaja and Johnson batting

Jay

I like the look of khawaja. I agree paine in, haddin out.

Nathan Lyon! What a find hey. Couldnt break into s.a's sheild team last year and now playing for aussies!

You could see he was a good t20 from the big bash but i was a bit sceptical to whether he could transfer that into the longer form! He has and good on him!
Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Krejza took 8 on debut and look where he is.

Krejza is a terrible bowler though.

PowerBug

Seems to be more rain in Galle, and play isn't predicted to start for another hour.

PowerBug

More rain again. Play is going to take a while to start.

Australia needs a spin bowler who in his first game, get's absolutely smashed, only takes one wicket and goes at 5 per over. But unlike other times, let this guy play then watch him take 700+ wicket in his career inventing new deliveries and averaging under 25.

Remind you of anyone?

Cicjose

after his first test he had a career record of 1/190

PowerBug

Pitch going to be inspected at 11:20 local time, 15 minutes from now.

Not looking good on the weather front apparently.
