Copeland with his first wicket with his second ball of the game

Copeland has started well and picked up our first wicket. Disappointing batting performance by us though

Haddin drops regulation catch off Harris

8-6 Suited

Haddin is in a slump as well now. Needs to be replaced in test cricket, to give Paine that experience which is needed at the top form of the game.

Cicjose

who is next in line after Paine tho?

I have never rated Haddin. After Gilly retired the selectors wanted another 'all-rounder / keeper' but Haddin isn't anywhere near Gilly's class with either bat or gloves. I would love to see Tim Paine get a permanent gig, he has got some serious potential.

They are taking their time after the collapse. But they are the hosts, they know the pitch better than the Aussies do.

He can bat, but he is too inconsistant with the pine. Paine will be the way of the future so we need to focus on that now while he is young.

I still see Paine as more of a ODI batsman than Test match. Graham Manou looked the test player but he's gone now.

PB their batting shouldn't matter as much as their ability to keep wickets. Wicket-keeping is much more important in test matches and IMO I feel that Haddin is not our best keeper.

In-fact, I'd go as far as saying that I don't think Haddin is even in our top 3 keepers.
