hey guys,

Just looking for some early advice regarding my GF trades.
My opponent has Cross so it cancels out really but should I bring in Mitchell.
All depends on GS I suppose but just looking at it. Other options could be offload J.Roo but opponent also has him.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated?
2 trades but no cash $100 only.

B: Godd, Lids, Gibbs, Murphy, Suckling, Enright, Fisher (HEPPELL, Howard, Buckley)
M: Swan, Ablett, Pendles, Hodge. Judd, Cross (Bewick, Mzungu, Jacobs)
R: Sandi, Cox (Tippett, Lobbe)
F: Franklin, N.Roo, ROK, Goodes, Fyfe, L.Davis, J.Roo (Krak, Siposs, Talia)

charliesheen

Any other PODs?

Cross to Mitchell could be anywhere from a 30-50+ advantage.

Jroo's form has been encouraging, would probably keep him.

Wait for Team announcements and then see  if you need to do any forced trades

If not maybe look at switching Heppell and Jacobs and then downgrading Heppell to Blease Melbourne gives you another $158k to play with and then an upgrade as needed.  Maybe Mzungu to Mitchell keeping Cross as emergency or as a real POD Cross to Rockliff who is really tearing it up at the moment retaining Gu as emergency.  Just heard that Fyfe may be out so may change things a little.

Slammer

Bugger Fyfe out. Yes it now does change things a little.
Hope everyone else plays and its just a Fyfe swap to someone.

Opponent has Chappy and SJ different to me in fwd line.  mmmmmm! Rioli maybe???

charliesheen

I would stay away from those block busters.

Rioli/Gray probably are going to have the highest ceiling this week.  Robbie Gray is the master troll and will probably finish strong to troll you for 2012.

I think Harvey should be good for a tonne, especially after last weeks performance, almost always bounces back.  Nth just struggle against top 8 sides.

Could also be a shoot out for Petrie/Jroo.

Depends if you want to play it safe I guess.

yeah its a tough one.

This is my situation atm. Not sure how many trades he has but I have the two and will need 1 for FYFE.
He may need one for Lower/Heppell. Will be close I reckon so I need to make the most of these two trades.

I think cross-->mitchell is a good one so then depending on $$$ would defs look to trade out fyfe...would consider harvey petrie gray cloke or cancel out his advantage and go with SJ

Its up to you! Good luck, I think you have him :)

charliesheen

Is Cross going to have any one to tag against Freo?

lol, i'm not even sure they are gonna bother.  I guess if he tags Barlow, its actually a good thing, as he always finds the ball, which mean Cross will too.

Ringo

Wait for teams but 2 possible trades for good returns
Mzungu to Griffin
Fyfe to Harvey (As CS states bounce back after poor game and both Richmond and North will be going all out to finish 9th)

Alternatively you could downgrade Heppell to a low playing rookie and then Upgrade Fyfe to whoever in Midfield or Forward.

charliesheen

Bring on Robbie Gray  8)

Yeah like Robbie Gray as a unique but he kicked 6 last week didn't he?
That would have pushed his score up a little. Could he do it again?
Or do you play it safe and cancel out one of my opponents?
I may not get to do either as I have a funny feeling that Suckling will not play. Especially with
the Hawks possibly bringing in Stratton, Ellis etc.

charliesheen

Yeah just see what happens.  You don't want to play Ben Jacobs down back!!

If suckling makes it, I would probably just swap Fyfe.

You've got a better team on paper, you probably don't need to do anything risky like Robbie Gray lol.

Cloke may even be a good option if Harry Taylor misses.

Harvey probably the safest option at this stage.

charliesheen

#12
Hodge > Boyd
Franklin > Harvey (don't like NM outs/ins, however)

Franklin > Hale/Cloke --> could be a decent smokie, with Bailey and Lonergan out.

Opponent has Boyd so really need someone different like a Mitchell or A.Swallow or Priddis ??

charliesheen

what makes you think you need someone different?

eliminate his POD.  Unless you think Mitchell will score higher than Boyd, which I'm not too sure about.
