Stanton will be welcomed back into selection contention after spending this year on my blacklist.

totally agree.
didn't have him this year because of gf bye.
has had a really good second half of year.

me

many, many, many players on my PERMANENT black list out of this year -

heath shaw (complete idiot)

robin nahas (went for a unique option and burnt me all year)

brandon matera (spud)

aaron sandilands (turf toe)

jimmy bartel (had him from the get go and his shower scoring topped off with getting KO'ed and then missing the next week showerted me to tears)

jack grimes (always injured)

josh toy (spud)

leigh montagna (traded him in the week he did his knee)

jarrad irons (could've gone curnow/libba/savage but took this spud at the start and cost me dearly)

andy krakouer (copped all his shower scores, when he got a good score he was on my bench, then i traded him out and he started doing a whole lot better)

andy otten (spudded it up all year, horrible player)

i'm sure there are more, but these are the obvious ones at the moment

How did I miss Heater from my blacklist! Never ever again!

^Not sure I agree with sure of your rookie bagging especially Krak, soe of those were more bad luck/bad decisions at the time.

the ones in bold are a complete joke

nahas has averaged 85 for someone who was priced at 260k at the start of the year, thats pretty good

brandon matera will be a good player, but his style of game (at the moment, a small forward with limited possessions) isn't suited to dreamteam

jarrad irons got injured, not his fault, nor is it his fault that other options at a similar price tore it up

andy krakouer has averaged 75, offered good coverage, whilst having mpp for a player that started at 140k. what more do you want for someone rookie priced?

me

by all means u get them in ur own team next year lol

to me, black listed players are those who burnt me this year (and they all did, even if some of them were rookies or what not) based on dt output lol and of course there are heaps of players who are good who aren't dream team relevant at all

Andrew

ADELAIDE
Knights, Kurt Tippett, Johncock, Scott Thompson

GEELONG
Enright, Chapman, Mackie, Corey

All Melbourne players as noted above.

WEST COAST

Now that is harsh! Why would you blacklist Scotty T? had him for ages and has been a key point of difference that I have enjoyed greatly

CFC 1979

mainly in SC but Hurn

He looks to be pasted his thumping best scoring

Chopps

Thought it'd be a controversial one, but for mine Scott Thompson is on the decline and I don't like getting premiums from bottom 8 teams as I'm sure Adelaide will be next season. I've had Thompson for the 2nd half of the season and wouldn't touch next season, not for $400k plus anyway. Your midfield premiums have to be the best of the best and Thompson has only scored well against the shower teams. Some thought he was Swan/Ablett/Mitchell quality, but he just isn't.

scored 101 and 89 against geelong
scored 103 and 121 against st kilda
scored 108 against geelong
scored 78 (only failure) against the hawks

his 3 lowest scores are against port, melbourne and north

get my drift?

Thompson is a flat stick gun and his DT is on the upward swing not the decline  ???
Looks like Van Berlo might be cutting into some of his airtime but then at least the tag can be shared next season.

adelaide are back on the up, and thompson is one of only a few players who an actually handle a tag, unlike some players who can get tagged out of games. if he's scoring well when the crows are doing poorly then imagine what he would be scoring hwen they do well? clearly you havnt thought this one through, everyone's got ablett, he's in a bottom eight team, no one's questioning that decision, why question thompson?

You cannot disregard a true premium simply because you don't believe that his team will make the top 8. Sure it's natural that many of the premiums play in top 8 teams, but to totally discount him is just foolish.

PowerBug

Redden , Rockliff aren't in top 8 sides, and were all saying either or both of them are locks for next season.
