Cricket fantasy.

Hey everyone im looking for 7 others who want to be in a cricket management type game.

what happens is:

8 sides (random names and ages) will go head to head in a round robin. Top 4 sides play finals.

To assign teams i will get everyone who signs up to pick a number between 1 - 8 which then will allocate which players they recieve.

Each team consists of 30 players, 4 Opening Batsmen (OBT), 8 Batsmen (BAT), 5 All rounders (ALL), 7 Fast Medium Bowlers (FMB), 4 Spin Bowlers (SPN) and 3 Wicket Keeper Batsmen (WKB).

each week i will require you to submit your best side, and your 2nds side (each needs a bowling order of 5-6 aswell) and ill play the matches using Excel and a dice  :P. Ill update you via PM or E-Mail whichever you rather, of your teams stats and the competitions stats. Each team is required to play a WKB and 4 bowlers.

However i am still in school so if a week off please be flexable and allow me to do so, or if someone volunteers i will send you the required pages to do so.

F.Y.I.

A par team score is 165
A good batting average is 20
50 is a great score from a player in a game.
If a bowler goes for more than 20 in an over they will not bowl the corresponding over.

There is no over limit its just until the side is all out.

Bowling Order
1. 1st, 3rd,
2. 2nd ,4th
3. 5th, 7th
4. 6th, 8th
5. 9th, 11th
6. 10th, 12th

and so on.


May i please ask you to specify what you want your All rounders to bowl Spin or Medium. Thanks.

And last of all can you come up with a team name for your side thanks.

you will play each team twice in a season and hopefully we will play more than one season. So 14 rounds.

If you want to change your player names tell me with the name that have been changed. Please don't change it to any know names, AFL or Cricket names, unless you already got some eg. Judd, Lloyd, Ratten etc. etc.

Each team is allowed to change 5 player names, they can be famous AFL players names ONLY no cricket etc. Please notify me of the old players name, age and role thanks.

to keep the competition as realistic as possible i am only allowing one of the famous last names in the competition eg. only one Ablett etc. etc.
