Yeah fair calls. Not sure we will beat Norwich by as much as people are predicting...

Everton played like shower but howard was fantastic saving that penalty and also making some great saves.we didnt even rely deserve 1 point let alone 3 but il take it :D

Yeah from what I heard hawka Blackburn deserved the win, but if you can't score from 2 penalties you probably don't deserve it. Blackburn is the team I go for when I don't go for United and looks like they will be in for a long season...

I just watched around 20 minutes of highlights from the Chelsea game and I've got to say Norwich deserved a point from that game. Chelsea's defending at times was amateurish and Norwich perhaps could have scored another goal or two. Then Chelsea got the penalty and the red card (which shouldn't have been a red in my opinion, penalty yes, red no). Then the final goal came from a sloppy Norwich pass, not good attacking play that you would expect from Chelsea. I see them really struggling against better teams this year, playing Drogba and Torres up front is just not working for them at all!

yeh i watched it and it was just a shocking performance from everton
Hiliaro made a huge mistake wen norwich scored there goal and wen i flicked over to watch a bit norwich looked okish

Hilario keeping was really average. I agree it should have been a pen and a yellow no a red. Our defence has been unsettled and the sooner we get Luiz back in the better. The communication with hilario and the defence seems much worse than when cech is in goals. i reckon that since JT and cech have played so long together they have a good connection and they talk to each other. Realistically we might not have deserved 3 goals but we did deserve the win. Norwich shouldn't have scored, terrible keeping :(
When Mata came on the ground wih lakaku it was a little glance to the future. The creativity of Mata was awesome and the pure strength of lakaku was amazing. We simply outclassed them in the end of the second half.
Drogba's injury looked pretty bad though :( Wouldn't mind seeing us line up with a young forward line after the break.

I think Ramires was great in winning his penalty. Great run and skill. Bosingwa seems to be thriving under AVB.

Should be a great season with more young blood being thrown into the line-up. Can't wait for united vs chelsea at old trafford in three weeks. Cech will hopefully be back by then...

we need a new back up keeper, Hilario is like watching Stanton for Essendon (not that i hate him)

But Mata scored on his debut, Drogba got stretchered off and Lampard!!!!!!!!!!

Lampard played like crap hilly, he did nothing all game.
And they should be playing Turnbull over Hilario, but Hilario is Portuguese so he plays ::)

i know but he scored, and i'm happy that he scored coz he is in my Sportal team.

Yeah hilario is defs not a fantastic keeper. This courtis kid we got from genk is supposedly the long term replacement. Turnbull has to play vs sunderland now surely. Hilario seems to have little to no communication with the back 4.

Lamps didn't play like crap CF. Sure he wasn't really his productive self but when Mata was introduced they combined amazingly to set up a free header for ivanovic. I thought you said you watched highlights CF. How would you know how 'bad' lamps played.
His penalty and 'assist' was great as sportal dt captain.

Hahah yeah okay but not really. All the talk around the sportal forums was that cole/riise/gibbs -> bosingwa was one of the most popular trades of the week. Good call yeah but not exactly a star recruit... :)
