Lampard played like crap hilly, he did nothing all game.
And they should be playing Turnbull over Hilario, but Hilario is Portuguese so he plays ::)
Lamps didn't play like crap CF. Sure he wasn't really his productive self but when Mata was introduced they combined amazingly to set up a free header for ivanovic. I thought you said you watched highlights CF. How would you know how 'bad' lamps played.
His penalty and 'assist' was great as sportal dt captain.
Well I watched about 20 minutes of the game so you get a grasp of who was playing well. From what I saw he wasn't making any influence on the game with his passing, the assist he got was all down to Bosingwa since it was just a simple pass to the man out wide who cut in and took a great shot. Yes he did well from a fantasy point of view, but in terms of a playing view it wasn't that good in my mind ;)

elephants

Yeah his assist was pretty dodge hence why it was in quotation marks.
He was a little below par but he wasn't crap. Hilario was crap.

Fyfe_gun

hillario is crap. they need cech back it is wiping bosingwa clean sheet scores. he would be close to top in fantasy game but has missed out on two clean sheets againnst two fairly easy opponents

mata was great last night but will he be snapped up like aguero and score low next week

what about klasnic. he is on fire. they have had a tough draw and he just keeps going. wait til they play norwich and co.

I traded in Klasnic week 2 as he had a ripper pre season but the site was down the day of lockout. He's kinda replaced Elmander since he left, who was also a good scorer for Bolton last season. Davies will do a solid job as a partner.

Di Santo has been on my watchlist since the start of the season. Striker at Wigan and is playing well (Have him shortlisted for the FF AEPL) :P. Having Roda getting most of the attention, is scoring.

So Newcastle beat Fulham 2-1, with 2 goals by Best and 1 by Dempsey.
And Man City lead Tottenham 4 nil with 20 odd minutes still to play! Dzeko with a hattrick and Aguero the other. This Man City team is looking very strong indeed! :o

EDIT: Make that 4-1 now...

elephants

Dammit. lost my clean sheet points for toure and kompany.
At least toure got on assist.

elephants

Dzeko adds another. 4 for him. To think I chose Gervinho over him prior to round 1...

CrowsFan

Dzeko on fire this season! I knew he was good cos I watched him when in Germany, but that form didn't translate over to the EPL when he moved in January. Looks like he is finding his way again! Considering trading Aguero down to Dzeko at the moment to use the cash elsewhere as they are both playing and getting excellent service from the others...

Team lists for the United v Arsenal game are in and here they are...

United
                     De Gea
   Smalling - Jones - Evans - Evra
Nani - Anderson - Cleverley - Young
              Rooney - Welbeck

Bench: Lindegaard, Ferdinand, Giggs, Park, Berbatov, Hernandez, Fabio

Arsenal
                    Szczesny
Jenkinson - Djourou - Koscielny - Traore
       Ramsey - Coquelin - Rosicky
Walcott - van Persie - Arshavin

Bench: Fabianski, Chamberlain, Chamakh, Lansbury, Miquel, Ozyakup, Sunu

Looking at those lineups I would say United have this in the bag. Arsenals defense is just looking extremely weak with Sagna, Vermaelen and Gibbs all missing, and with the form of Welbeck, Rooney and others they are going to be under a lot of pressure. The form of United's youngsters means Ferdinand can only start on the bench...

Also you can see that the benches that Arsenal are struggling and need to get some new players. Chamakh and perhaps Chamberlain are really the only options they can bring on to change things up and provide a spark, whereas if things aren't going well for United they could bring on Hernandez, Giggs, Park or Berbatov to add more attacking threats

2 nil to United after just 30 minutes ;D ;D
Welbeck scored a goal, then a few minutes later De Gea saves a van Persie penalty, then Young scores a second for United :D

elephants

Youngs goal was beautiful. Welbecks done his hammy off for chicarito.

elephants

Roooooooooooooney!!! This is going to get ugly.
Chelsea kid through and through I am but god I love the way united play.

CrowsFan

Well I thought United would win easily, but 8-2 is just amazing!! :o :o
A hattrick to Rooney, a brace to Young and goals apiece for Welbeck, Nani and Park. A brutal display by United, which shows the problems that Arsenal are facing at the moment. They certainly need to bring in some new players in the next few days, otherwise I fear for Wengers job!

Fletch74

I think he's gone too CF, unless they have a major turn around.

PowerBug

8-2. Oh well, maybe next time.
