Hey all,
I was just wondering if you guys thought this trades are a good idea or a bad one? If bad I am open up to suggestions.

With Pavlich out I will be trading him out, Sylvia will be covered with Smith, Judd will be covered with Mzungu, Gibbs I may trade out since my only cover is Jacobs/Talia.

The trades I am thinking about but not sure yet are:
Gibbs > Enright/Gram (Only cover is Talia/Jacobs)
Pavlich > Harvey
4 Trades left, $20,000.

Backs: Gibbs, Delidio, Bock, Goddard, Fisher, Birchall, Adcock (Talia, Strauss, Andreoli)
Forwards:  Franklin, Pavlich, N.Riewoldt, Fyfe, Sylvia, Goodes, Petrie (Smith, Howe, Lynch(GC))

Edit: Ooops. I forgot one player from each line. Thanks Charliesheen :).

You've only got 6 forwards and defenders?

Ringo

If you wanted to gamble on making finals you could go Strauss to Tutt and hope he pulls out 80+ against Hawks after his 147 last week and retain Gibbs for GF.
Pav to Harvey/Cloke or Davis with extra cah made by trade.

Obviously though wait for Teams before making final decision.

#4
Note: Subject to opponents team

Backs: MURPHY, Delidio, Bock, Goddard, Fisher, Birchall, Adcock (GIBBS, Strauss, Andreoli)
Forwards:  Franklin, HARVEY, N.Riewoldt, Fyfe, SMITH, Goodes, Petrie (TALIA, Howe, Lynch)

Whats your opponent's team look like?

If your opponent has SJ, Rioli, Cloke, Leon Davis, your going to be in for some hell.

Ringo

had a look at those trades for him initially Charlie and he has only $20k cash not enough for pav to harvey and sylvia to Murphy. Needs $42k to complete these trades hence my POD suggestion with Tutt,

charliesheen

hmmm, didn't realise harvey went up another 20k from last week.

I would do the Enright trade, Gibbs to Enright, will free up 100k.

Is Gibbs likely to ouscore Enright in R24 anyway?  I reckon you would probably break even.

Think you really gotta grab one of Rioli/Sj/Cloke/Leon Davis this week.

At least one of these are going to produce 130 scores IMO.  It could be multiple.

Gibbs-Enright, Pav- Rioli

I am thinking about Rioli just worried about his hamstrings and how he may be rested next week to save himself for finals. Enright seems popular this week. Thanks for the insight penski :).

That is actually quite a unique idea Ringo. I must say I like it, I just don't know if it would work in regards to what score he would get. The only thing scaring me off a Collingwood forward is how they play Geelong last round. Harvey also worries me this week if he gets the Jones tag. Rioli also worries me due to the reasons above. Hard choices. Thanks again Ringo :).

I found the POD's in the backline and forwardline for the respective games.
Midfields are much the same with both games :).

POD Match 1: Johnson(GEE), Rioli, Matera. Broughton, Suckling, Lower

POD Match 2: Harvey, Chapman, Johnson(SYD), Richardson. Broughton, Heppell, Enright, Hurn, Frawley, Puopolo, Pederson.

That is what has me thinking. If Gibbs and Enright score similar R24 it will be worth the trade for the money alone.
I have looked at the above and made reasons for some above. Johnson is a good choice however I am worried at how he will play against Collingwood since most of his huge scores are at home against lesser opposition. I will look into those four since Ringo and also penski pointed them out. It is just choosing which one. Thanks Charliesheen :).

Pav - SJ
Gibbs - Drummond

Drummond that sounds like a unique pick. I know he is an elite kick of the footy just how he has had an injury year worries me. Thanks meow :).

I must say thanks to all of you for your help. It now seems that Gibbs to Enright is likely and that Pavlich will be traded to one of SJ, Rioli, Harvey, Cloke, Davis.
