This interesting article in todays CM.  What do you think of the prospects of Carig joining Lions Coaching staff and will our young list develop under Voss/Craig? Interesting take on Assistant coaches as well. Is all well??

So much for all the rhetric about Neil Craig being a Crow for life. There was always this talk of him one day stepping back from coaching but staying within the football operations, great faith in him, don;t want to lose his knowledge, amazing character, no other club, full support etc etc. Now two minutes later he is off to Brisbane!

As a Collingwood supporter it is interesting to note.

I personally think it will be great for the team and vossy, i think vossy has potential to be a good coach but he just doesnt have any experience around him to help him out and sort of show him the ropes, and i also think the players will be able to learn a bit more with Craigs experience being around the club

what are the odds for them making the 8 next year?

I reckon we can make it as long as we play together as a team, which is what i feel the team hasnt been doing so well this year there have been matches where they have shown how they can play when they play together but they need to be consistent and we need Mitch Clark to resign and probably sign another key Forward in the draft

agree - I think we should just take best on offer in the draftn and i would not like to see us tank in the next 2 rounds for a priority pick which is probably not worth it this year any way. I think with continued development both Karnezis and Cornelius can hold a forward position to support Brownie.  Both have good aerial skills and are reasonably accurate kicks for goals. We have a very young list given that the Burger has just turned 23 and our future mid field Rich, Rockie , Redden and Sheldon are all 22 or younger.

I was surprised on Saturday night how out of shape Mitch Clark looked. Very little body defiition, and apart from scrapping with Tarrant in the second half he was hardly sighted. Very disappointing. I was wondering what has happened, he just didn;t look committed to the cause.

Clark was playing injured as per the report and was in doubt right up to the match. In hindsight probably should not have played as fitness test was behind closed doors. Report mentions clearly below best.

there is another interesting report in th CM also today about the suns delisting up to 15 players.  Not the exact article but closest I could find

I will be on any odds greater than 8 - 1 I have heard as much as 20 - 1 mooted in pre betting talks.
