roo boys!

Rawlings has just announced his retirement, effective at the end of the 2011 season.

A champion in my eyes, true grit and always puts in 110%. He may not be the most skilled player, but he is very competitive and spirited and is the true definition of Shinboner Spirit.

People have predicted it would be coming soon, I would have thought that he would be able to play at least one more season, but he has decided to make way for another young player to come in, as he didn't want to deny someone that opportunity.

sad to here but does give a chance to some young guys. Is probably good news for team as he i dont think he would be that good in 2-3 years when we are in our prime.  But still sad to see him go

roo boys!

He will be staying around the club in a development role. Good to hear that.

Real good servicemen over the year, glad he's retiring though. We need to get games into some young talent.

Or get traded......Apparently Gibson is one of the best defenders in the game now, but a when he played for the Roos he was never mentioned.

Premiership Player Leigh Brown's pretty good. Apparently everyone wants a player like him now

PowerBug

I only just heard about it now. Good timing for him, game just starting to move ahead. Unselfish

roo boys!

Exactly PB. Unselfish of him to move aside for a young player to fill his spot.

Rawlings certainly made the most of what he was given!
