been carrying this for a while

Isn't anyone concerned about the job jones usually does on boomer? My opponent would have Fyfe j Roo Lecras and whoever he trades pav for against my boomer okeefe Cloke and N Roo so I'm looking for max points in the pav trade. I can get Fyfe to block but would have to trade Gibbs not Broughton which would not be ideal as Gibbs is a good in next week if I win. Thoughts?

pav goes in for hip surgery this week

Beams/Daisy Thomas are a good POD to have in finals.  I guess my only concern is how MM is going to manage their TOG.  You can already see the impact it is having on Pendlebury's score with him spending a lotta time up forward and on the bench.  Both will be Freo's worst nightmare, and I can see 130+ scores from one of them, just which one I'm not sure about.

Boyd should finish the year off strongly after having a bye.  He has 2 games left at ES where he averages a massive 130 in 2011.  He faces one of his favorite oppositions in the Hawks followed by the Freo who were just smashed by North Melbourne not long ago.

A Swallow, I'm a bit concerned with how he will go against the Saints.  Personally, I don't think NTH can squeeze into the 8, so I have reservations with how he will finish.

Hodge... Could finish strongly.  I have him in my team, but I'm probably not going to pick guys who had an interrupted preseason in the future no matter how cheap they are (didak, chappy, hodge, etc).

Redden, is a future star.  Hard to say how he will finish.  Not sure I can see 120+ scores coming his way for remaining 2 games.

Personally I would go Boyd, based on his proven record @ ES, followed by Beams/Thomas, Hodge, Swallow, Redden.

Hey guys,

So like many other people trading out Pav this week. Not sure who to take out of Boomer, Rioli, Chappy etc?

I've got about $495000

My forward line is Fyfe, NRoo, Jroo, Goodes, O'Keefe, Franklin

Any thoughts much appreciated

MC

I'd go Rioli then Boomer then Chappy last of all.
Rioli to play (and destroy) GCS in round 24, and has been on fire lately.
Boomer contesting for finals and will surely have a big dip.
Chappy may be rested for rd24 with the pies v cats game to be a reserves showcase.

In saying that, I have both Rioli and Boomer, and would say you'd be safe with either. Good luck!

Do you think Rioli is in danger of being rested in round 24 though? Playing an easy side, 3rd place wrapped up, one week out from finals, Rioli is injury prone... I wouldn't be supriesed if he's rested....

Sounds logical as well as a few others > hodge mitchell & co

Franklin, Pavlich, Goodes, O'Keefe, Rioli, Fyfe, N Riewoldt    (Talia, Richardson, Callinan)

it's out of Harvey and LeCras for me, and i'm thinking Harvey, the little champ. would he be the best inclusion for my fwd line?

Boomer to pull out an inspirational performance for his Roos

... but then again Clinton Jones stands in his way lol

I have $475,000 to spend so who should I bring and why?

I'm leaning towards Fyfe because with Freo's injuries he will dominate and he will definitely play again next week. Also my opponent has him.

I'm a little worried that teams guaranteed of top 4 spot will rest players next week i.e Rioli, Cloke, Chapman..

Bill Manspeaker

lol, i'll still stick with him. if he can still pull out a handy 80 or something i feel i'll win. then i have him for the grand final, when he destroys the Tigers.
