I am leaning towards starting Moloney ahead of Bartel as he plays against GC whereas Syd can lock down games even though it is at SS. What do you think?

charliesheen

this is actually a tough question

with Sylvia out I wonder who is gonna grab all the points now.

If the Jamar/Moloney combo get back to where it was @ the start of the year, could be some big points.

Luigi197

thats a close one.

BARTEL:
v Sydney at Skilled.
Past 5 at Skilled: 86, 138, 144, 112, 159
r4 v Sydney at SCG: 75.

MOLONEY:
v Gold Coast at MCG
Past 5 at MCG: 90, 100, 82, 117, 132.
r4 v Gold Coast at Gabba: 152

Moloney because Melbourne and GCS have no chance of finals. A Shoot-out.

charliesheen

bartel can be one hell of a frustrating ride lol.

get some cheap ball some!

GoLions

after 2 sub 100 scores i reckon bartels due for a 120+ game. i wouldnt be so sure that moloneys going to do well. dees in horrible form so i think there wont be many stand out scores in that game except for gaj

Bartel's scores is dependent on his roles which almost changes on a week by week basis.  Sometimes he plays off HBF, sometimes in the guts, sometimes more up forward, sometimes a mix.

The problem with Bartel is that he really needs to pull something out of the hat, like kick goals, to get a decent SC now days.

Saying that, Moloney is not much better, but it is against Gold Coast at the MCG too.

Torress

its a 50/50
i always like to pick the horse who has more class. so definately bartel for me. moloney can go missing.
its at skilled stadium.. gaj (did whilst a cat) and bartel score big against the swans traditionally.
so bartel is playing on a track where the cats are advantaged, proven form against opposition, and coming off a week layoff.. spells a good ton for me.
mind you dees vs the GC?? that makes it hard! although i've made players captain against GC like boyd ages ago expecting a big one but the scores were more evenly spread?? you find more players from the team playing the GC beats their direct opponent; resulting in a more even spread.. that mckensie has been really good this year with clearances from the dees. he could have a bigger one, so could scully (if plays) trengrove as well. i think the outside players against the gc are the ones who should do well. rischetelli and gaj will do a good job in and under. moloney mostly an inside type of player?

i say lock in bartel bascially!

charliesheen

I'm gonna go Moloney.

Moloney scored 152 against GCS in Round 4.  GCS are the number 1 side in giving away the most fantasy captaincy points in the competition.  The game is also at the MCG, and there were a lot of encouraging signs last week.

The way I see it, Bartel could potentially get another showerty role which is going to impact his scores.

At least you know what your going to get with Moloney.  Think he has a point to prove.

hazzq

charliesheen

1 trade left i`m thinking of going pav to cloke i have enough cash to get anyone except Davis
current forwards
Stevie.J,Goodes,Franklin,Rioli,N.Roo,Mzungu,Pav
Karnezis,Dalhaus,Sylvia(who i am happy to bench for the year and paly Mzungu)

do i stick with Lobbe on the field or put Smith back on?

Out of these which 3 should be on the field Martin,Broughton,Lower and puopolo?

Thought ill get things rolling...

For me J riewoldt in fwd line, or Z smith in ruck, with Petrie up forward or J riewoldt up fwd and Petrie ruck with Z Smith on bench.. thinking the 2nd option with no other Ruckman for GC.
