Nah, as it's all done in one transaction it'll only count as one trade.

However, if I trade 2 players in one deal and 1 in another with hawka, then that will count as two (which will be pretty stupid to do). Think it's 3 players maximum per side in a swap (3 for 3).

No that would have been 2 trades. Each player you take from LNL is a trade since they are free agents.
Also you can't trade players in to LNL anyway, only myself and HP can do that ;)

CF, think we have 2 replacement trades for LNL? Maxi Rodriguez and Hilario. Could keep Hilario with Cech injured but could go some risk if you don't think Maxi is a great fit? :P.
