Hey all,

as you may know, I'm currently out and about travelling  by myself around europe, and so I thought I would share some wisdom and rules I've devised for future travelling experiences.
1. Don't take a dump on the cavity searcher's hand.
2. Don't travel by yourself. I've just split off from my group who went back home, and, I dunno if it'll get better, but atm, it's shower lol.
3. Plan stuff. Don't be like me and just wing it.
4. Don't get trenchfoot
5. Sleeping at airports suck
6. Wifi at airports suck
7. Kneeling to go on the ground on your laptop because you found the one square metre of madrid's international airport that has wifi, sucks.

Stay tuned for more!

:P

Haha,  Yeah, WiFi (free) usually sucks big time.

I got told this at school a few weeks ago. "The awkward moment when the Malaysian prostitute has a bigger hammer than you."  :P

lol, I'm intending on going to amsterdam (well, it's a possibility), but, since I have a family history of skitzo, probs not the best idea to torch one up :P

Bahaha!!!!!

I'm guessing you don't like Airports as you mention them 3 time (maybe 4 if you count the first one :P). At least travelling by yourself, you'll meet new people on your journey!

How can you wing such a trip? :o.

CrowsFan

Winging it is the best part of traveling through Europe :D

Have a basic plan of where you want to be, but just go with whatever comes along ;)

Mate I recommend doing a topdeck or contiki tour of europe if ur by yourself. U get to meet some folks and if there's others that are hanging around after the trip u can go back to places u enjoy or visit some new places possibly with some new friends?
I did it a few years ago n it was rad!

Nails Rule of Travel:

Don't keep going to a computer/phone/whatever to post on FanFooty, enjoy your time overseas and catch up on FF later  :-X

i think someone is homesick...
dude you're in europe during summer, music festivals galore, hot foreign chicks, more old castles and churches than u can poke a stick at.  while we are stuck here in this horrible cold winter doing the same crap everyday  and YOU are complaining about traveling..
in a month or so there is oktoberfest starting in munich, why dont u just make your way there . having a destination may help.  and if u get sidetrack then so be it.
i was in europe in 95' and was awesome, if u get a chance to go to scotland do so. northern part of loch ness is gorgeous.
