i'd like to think the Bloods will put in a 'traditional' effort against Cats this wk, and by traditional i mean an effort with a bit of heart.

i've been a bit concerned at what i've seen for some of the last quarter of the season - some leadership issues coming from somewhere but can't put my finger on it ...

No upset this week, sorry Swans fans. I do hope they put in a good performance, for McVeigh.

Well, i have the second part correct. As i write Swans 8.8 to Cats 6.8 in third qtr.

I got the first part wrong. Swans will best Geelong at Skilled Stadium ending their winning streak and handing Travis Varcoe his 13th loss in his 90+ game career. (Just thought i'd add that bit in)

roo boys!

Congrats Swans. Thoughts out to McVeigh.

Is it ironic that Geelong lost in the 2nd last round of the year.
Last time was '07 in the 2nd last round. Won the flag that year.

fantastic win by the team this week!! Had a feeling they could do the job.

Great input from the young guys was good to see. Parker, Reid, Merredith and Rohan were all good, really good signs for the future!

Loved Rohan! And Nick Smith played a beauty too!
