What do you think? Can Sydney beat Geelong at skilled to break the record run??

If they kicked straight they should have beaten the Saints by 100 points, not 15

The midfield was all over the Saints and Mummy dominated

I would celebrate wildly if they did.... but i will not be tipping them...

Unlikely, you would have to say though ;)

If we can control the midfield and clearances as well as we did vs St Kilda I think we are a chance.

Geelong also might play into our hands.... havent lost at skilled in so long, week after a bye, only two weeks until the finals

where they are pretty much assured of top two?

The big and needs to be we kick straight, something like 16.4 would win it for us I reckon

roo boys!

I would prefer if you didn't, then decided to go down to Brisbane ;)

But I am giving you about a 20/80 chance of beating them.

SydneyRox

LOL.. sorry RB, even if we lose to Geelong which is more than likely we are never going to let Brisbane get over us in rnd 24, you need to be hoping Essendon lose this week!

That's better odds than the tab are giving ;)

Why doesn't Goodes stay in the midfield? The Mummy - Goodes combo was amazing! When he moved there they started dominating and so did he, I don't understand why they hide him up forward.

SydneyRox

Because without him in the forward line we cant kick goals!!

Bradshaw is gone, Reid is too young yet and Jessie White hasnt lived up to the expectations

What I dont understand is why they havent had a crack at Seaby in the forward line? Reckon it is worth a crack

North Melbournes Finest

You seemed to kick more goals when he went into the midfield haha.

100% agree. I've said the same thing myself. He's a handy goal kicker and more than competent in the ruck. In fact he's head and shoulders above Jesse White in both respects. It's all well and good grooming a player for the future but how many chances has White been given to physically impose himself on the game?
If we could clone Adam Goodes then we'd play one in the ruck, one in the mids and one at full fwd.
"Goodes taps down to Goodes who bursts through the pack and delivers it lace out to GOODES on the lead!! Swans in front by 250 points!"

I'd much rather have Mumford in the ruck then Goodes tbh.

SydneyRox

Goodes in his brownlow year was awesome in the ruck!

Made Nic nat look like Mike Pike  :o :o :o

Fireballz

Yeah Goodes circa 2003 was better than Mumford. Though Mumford is a gun...

And Pyke goes alright! He's just a bit a newbie still.
