i may go heppell next year - 2nd year rule is a load of bullshower imo and he'll keep spending more and more time in the midfield as he is a star

Good Luck - Second year rule covers pretty much everyone, I cant think of a notable exception right now, someone will surely give us a couple.....

fyfe

Rockliff, Redden

Fyfe_gun

i reckon there is a second year rule. it is that stage when players belive they have found there feet and get too comfotable and you can say he wont do it or he is a better pleyer but it happens to about 99.9 % of players. Shuey is an exception because how many games did he play in 2010?

btw schammer has pretty much said he is retiring at the end of the year so cross him off. I have an ultimate smokey and im not telling anyone. I started the year with redden this year hoping this guy turns out the same way

PowerBug

How about Billie Smedts, the Cats No. 1 draft pick this year but was injured and didn't play seniors all season?

fyfe wasnt that good in his first year, guys like rockliff, barlow, anthony, palmer all pulled decent scores after great starts.

I had Fyfe last year as a rookie and he was quite servicable, avg 70 or something I believe. However, if he was a cyclist or a horse there would be a massive investigation into his rapid improvement this year, it's been incredible!

Thanks for the heads up, name sounds familiar but didn't know he was their highest draft pick. As long as he plays NAB Cup I'll pick him as Geelong seem to be selecting some good kids.

Ok i have been bored during school and now i have made a basic outline of not a bad team so far for the start of next season
Of course there are going to be million of Changes to the team before round one. Please comment on other players you may think off.

Defence
Brendon Goddard, Heath Shaw, Greg Broughton, Beau Waters, Jack Grimes, Phil Davis, 1st Round Draft Pick

Dane Swan, Joel Selwood, Michael Barlow, Lenny Hayes, Andrew Gaff, 1st Round Pick

Aaron Sanderlands/Matthew Krusier, Hamish Mac

Lance Franklin, Matthew Pavlich, Nick Riewalt, Alan Didiak, Johnathon Brown, Jason Porplzia, Brendon Fevola

I have done some pricing of the players using this years magic number of 4012 and there average of this season.

Barlow 21

Magic number will rise to 2010 MN.

Even as a rampant blues supporter I'm not entirely convinced Kreuz is ready for the support ruck role. I think there will be some tasty cash-cow ruckmen next year just like Zac Smith. There's 2 new teams, one brand new..I think by the time teams start being properly selected there will be so many to choose from and some big trades

j959

hey dale, just my opinions but not sold on Davis but if he gets a significant or tempting discount, could be a goer.

Broughts - really have to wait to see how Lyon uses him but that's Captain Obvious - i would've thought enough people burnt this year to stay away??

Barlow could be a goer but i'm going to wait for pre-season form and you might be in a bit of 'premium mid-pricer' territory there ...

i think Pav, Roo, Dids & Brown-Dawg are too 'old' to be in your starting team ... though J Brown's 'cheapness' will determine that decision ...

Ziplock

J959, I doubt I'll be touching Pav or Dids unless some ridiculous pre season shines comes through. Roo (N and J) are imo, still potentiallyfantasy relevant, and I'll be watching them personally: Browns pricing will be too ridiculous to ignore. Barlow and Broughts will have a decent probability of featuring in  my team.  As you said though, only if Broughts is looking like a role change.

Sure you have made a mistake there, what will It actually rise to?

PowerBug

I hope it's 2010, very cheap players then. :)

Barlow 21

Sorry. 2009 Magic Number. Should be rought 5,350.

Voldemort

A) how can you afford all these players and B) Greg B is a spud
