When someone says you don't have any decent talent in terms of KPP players, ANY DECENT talent........They don't even deserve a reply. Cam Pedersen/Todd Goldstein/Mabon/Tarrant/Delaney/Hansen. While that's not a tonne of players, they're all guys that have a lot of years left on their careers. Tarrant is 22 and has shown signs of being a good defender, injuries are killing him. Goldstein is an all australian ruckmen and he's 23, I guess he has no talent. Cam Pedersen has slotted in beautifully. You can say whatever to the rest I don't mind. But to say we have no decent talent was a troll statement to make. I don't care if he isn't known as one, that was a statement said just to gain a reaction out of someone.
If it was then it certainly worked ::) 23 isn't really youth so Goldy isn't a factor, Hansen is crap, plain and simple, Tarrant being a player with a lot of injuries it's hard to get a gauge on whether he will be good or not. I don't know, maybe it was a bit harsh, but to call somebody a troll based on one comment that is there opinion is just ridiculous
So that's the definition of a troll statement  ::)

23 isn't young? Especially for a ruckmen come on.....
Sorry Pyro this I will agree on. Goldy is definitely young. Belly is almost the same age (I think) Ryder is older and they are considered young...
Only a year older then McEvoy.
yes but 23 isn't youth sure he is young for a developed ruckman, but youth is usually talking about the 18-21 range
Technically speaking youth is TAC Cup :P

Bigfooty seems to think Kangaroos have some nice youth, they tied the poll out of all the clubs for having the best youth. But I guess they're all bias?  ;D

Ouch Pyro :P

When was that NMF? And link? Not trying to annoy you I am actually curious. Because I really think WC should have gotten all the votes for that one :-X

West Coast tied North Melbourne, and it was conducted about a week ago until right now.

That is interesting.
We're only 3 votes behind :P
Also reading through the first 3 pages everyone mentions your 'epic' midfield but nothing about KP.

And after thinking about it why didn't Collingwood win. Didn't they win the cup with an ave age of like 22 last year? I remember it being younger than the Baby Bombers.

MajorLazer

What about Hawthorn? :'( :P

North will have a great midfield, but their KPP are definitely lacking. At least they have a ruckman though.

That's fine, I just took the comment of "Any decent" quite literally, when you have an AA ruckmen and a bunch of KPP guys who are 22 or younger who may not have played a game due to injuries or what have you it's a rather unfair and uneducated call.

I would like our future a lot more had we drafted Darling instead of Atley, allthough I can see great things in Atley and we were lacking speed. We've now picked that up with Speight and Atley in the mids, but a key forward like Darling was probably more important.

Yeah. But everyone regrets not picking him :P WC have handled his off field stuff very well though and gotten a lot out of him.

also thought I would post this from a guy on BF, made a lot of sense to me
QuoteJust a thought only 4 teams this season we have played have fielded a younger team than us, with us playing a 36year old in Fletcher.
On top of this we have not had it light on the injury side of things and yet are still pushing for a finals birth.
Considering we had to pick a side of 22 (25 inc. EMG) using 22 of our original squad players I'd say injuries have been very unkind.

Can we just settle at - Both teams have big futures. Another guy was going on about how everyone laughed when Bomber said Geelong had a better list than St Kilda 7-8 years ago so you never know. GC will probably win 4 in a row and screw all of us anyway :P

Stand by what I said am not going to get drawn into another argument with a biased flowerwit. Like every team north has some decent young KPP's but no way are they close to a lot of the other teams in young talent in general. Mids/Rucks yes but I'd hardly say any of your young key defenders or fwd's will be very good.

roo boys!

I've already listed who I think can/will make it big, all that's left I'd for them to prove you wrong Boomz ;)

Let's face it, no matter how much we bicker and debate on here won't change the on field performances one bit, so it's basically all down to the players that are out there...

Cool bro.
So this is how to respond when you lose an argument. Thanks!
Also the poll was biased. Not all teams were in it. Just saying.
