Have 4 trades $146K . Won final and have bye this week.
Have both Judd and Gibbs.

Do I burn a trade on Lower and get Enright this week? (cover for Gibbs next week).
Then go Judd to dal Santo next week
Leaves me one or two trades for GF if I win depending.
Or do I just hold the 4 trades and wait until next week?
I am thinking I should just hold in case of injuries etc. but getting say an Enright this week means I only have to sideways trade Judd next week. Leaving option to make another trade available if someone like Cox or Pendles gets rested. Otherwise both trades next week would be sideways for Gibbs and Murphy.
Another alternative would be Lower to Enright this week then Jacobs to Rookie and Buckley to Mitchell or DalSanto next week giving me premium coverage in backs and Mids. Risky though.
Any thoughts?

B: Gibbs, Lids, Goddard, fisher, Suckling, Murphy, heppell (lower, Jacobs, Howard)
M: Ablett, Swan, pendles, Hodge, Judd, Cross ( Bewick, Krak, Buckley)
R: Cox, Sandi (Lobbe, Tippett)
F: Buddy, N.Roo, Fyfe, Rok, Pav, Goodes, Mzungu (J.Roo, Siposs, Talia)

I would look at something cheaper down back like Johncock, who has GCS (previous scores of 115), Richmond, & WCE (previous scores of 131).

That leaves 100k to do whatever you want to do next week.

Judd > Mitchell & Cross > Priddis

or Keep Judd, and go Krak > Cloke, and use Goodes to cover for Judd.

Theres a few different options.  Where are you likely to lose more points from Jroo or from Cross?

Ringo

I would hold because you do not know when GS and resting will occur during finals series. I would however consider a trade of Buckley to Andreoli to increase cash.  Reason being it allows you plenty of cash $353k to cover the circumstances with three trades.
eg Krak to Priddis
Lower to Enright (after this weeks bye)
J Roo to Rioli
But go with gut feel on your upgrades and check out opponent as well.
Also have a look at how you can use DPP if you wish to save trades.

Wish I was in your position with 4 trades,

charliesheen

Jroo has Adelaide in R23 --> Rutten, so that could be a cause of concern.

Cross has Hawks in R23 --> Likely to tag mitchell/hodge

Judd has a bye in R23 --> so need someone to cover or sideways trade

Gibbs has a bye in R23 --> so need someone to cover or sideways trade

So you may have to do something this round, as you simply cannot address all 4 things in 1 round.  Maybe you need a downgrade to address this, maybe you don't.  Just fool around with some permutations.

Yeah I am finding it hard.
Do I hang onto trades this week because of the possibility of General Soreness from here on?
Or do I make a trade this week?

Leaning towards a Lower upgrade to an Enright or a Johncock this week.
Then hold onto 3 trades. Possibly a Judd sideways or a J.Roo to a Rioli next week.
Leaving 1 for GF. Not sure.

PICCOLLO

Because of lowers score, he is going to leak value in next couple of weeks so lower to enright this week makes sense.  I also think cross isnt an upper premium this year so a dalsanto upgrade there might be worth a thought.

Only concern being enright vs pies in GF if I get there.

Enright is all class, i wouldnt worry but johncock may be worth considering given their run.  With better players, you don't have to worry as much about their opposition.  You could argue enright might get more of it against the pies.

No Lower, Should I still go Lower for Enright? Would give me back up for Gibbs next week and leave me approx. $70K.
or do I trade Lower to Andreoli for cash leaving me 3 trades and about $350K.
Would leave me 3 trades left

charliesheen

I would definitely consider Lower > Johncock this week.

Ringo

As you have the bye this week maybe Buckley to Andreoli to increase your cash to $346K unless going for overall.
Then assess when teams named next week and where you need to trade to defeat your opposition.
With Carltons bye possibly Lower/Heppell to Enright/Johncock  (You loose Heppell for final anyway and allows you to keep Gibbs for finals)
Krak/Mzungu to Priddis/Selwood if you wish to keep Judd.

Leaves you one additional trade plus $100k for final.

charliesheen

you want Heppel against PA, he won't be rested imo.

i think Johncock is a bargain, the best choices are not neccessary the most expensive choices.

charliesheen

with 100k left, who is likely to lose more points

Cross vs Jack Riewoldt?

Cheers Ringo. Was looking at something similiar, however my concern is if a Pendles or Cox is rested next week then one of the two trades I will have to use. Meaning I could not beable to do the lower to Enright/Johncock and the Judd sideways.
By doing the backline trade this week I would only have Judd to trade or think about next week. Leaving me 1 extra trade for a potential Pendles/Cox etc. who may get rested.

Probably J.Roo but wouldn't that decision be for GF week ir I get there?
