Any footy fan who doesn't barrack for Collingwood should thank Leon for his great game on Saturday, and also for his arrogant display of showing the ball to the St.Kilda players. Mick would have spewed when he saw it. Players remember that sort of crap. Remember Warren Tredrea's famous bough. There's no doubt Geelong players used that as motivation in the 2007 GF.
Nothing will be said, but I bet all the players who play Collingwood in the finals will want to knock a bit of that arrogance out of the Collinwood players in the best possible way, by beating them.
Instead of widening the gap between his team and the other contenders, Leon has leveled the playing field.
If Collingwood happen to lose their first final against Carlton or West Coast and they have to play the Saints the following week....look out!!!!!

Must admit bunyip, didn't see it. Only saw parts of the game. But yes, I'm not a fan of that sort of stuff anyway.

I will say this though - Collingwood, no matter what they do, will always be seen as arrogant. So I guess that is a blessing - the Pies may as well be arrogant given they're seen that way anyway.

I have never seen them that way Oss. I have never looked forward to a finals series more than this one. Hawthorn were brutal against poor Port, and Carlton just keep playing well. Imagine what they'll be like when they get all there players back. The gap is definately closing.

roo boys!

Was a sign of arrogance, and I do hope it is used as inspiration for other teams.

Oh yes. Though I'm secretly still hoping Carlton go out first round :)

Geelong v Hawthorn QF (not certain yet) could be a match for the ages

yer, a lot of Hawthorn supporters will be looking forward to THAT one  :-\

Despite the sarcasm, I actually am and I am sure the team is as well.

To win a premiership you have to beat the best. As a competitive beast you thrive on the challenge.

As with all recent games, it will be a cracker and I think we are in better form that we were in the finals series of 08 so it is probably our best chance to date.

I wasn't being sarcastic. I meant you guys would LOVE the opportunity to kick us out of the race. I think we will play you in the first final. That means the loser goes on the same side of the draw as Collingwood. That's a good incentive to win, isn't it!

I was confused by the :-\ emoticon.

i can understand that, I was to

I laughed my arse of because I thought it was at Milne. BUT it was cleared up the following day on one of the football shows. They played it slower and it showed that Leon was pointing and telling Tarrent to sheppard Milne out. You could even read his lips on the reply they showed.
I was disapointed because it seemed very funny to stick it to Milne but in hindsite was relived that arrogance haddnt slipped into the side....
