Are you wanting to bowl or bat first today? I'm guessing if you want big hundreds you want to bat first...
I think i'll look to put runs on the board first. It is tempting to have a chuck first up though but i'm scared you'll score 300+ on this deck. What was your plan?

Nails

Call heads, win the toss, bowl you out for 0 is the plan.

Although realistically if we can keep you under 200 we'd be happy. We would appreciate it however if you can bat out 48 overs as I want to see how Sreerupa goes with his OBB talent.

I'm the same with Oldfield. Want my new tactics to fire. Change in the batting line-up too. Tonge and Wardlaw have swapped possies.

PowerBug

End of over 22 (2 runs) - Red Pig(110-2). 173 runs required from 28 overs. RR 5.00 RRR 6.18
C. Stevens 17 (24b) , V. Waugh 6 (12b) , J. Beete 6-0-32-0

The more that Waugh scores means more that Wallace needs to score to keep 2nd spot on the table for runs scored. Need Dorenagama to have a huge impact today. Huge.

PowerBug

28.5 W Saunders to Waugh : [catch] Controversy here as Waugh refuses to walk! Snicko is inconclusive, but Waugh clearly felt there was no edge. Eventually he trudges disconsolately back to the pavilion, but the Match Referee may have something to say about that little episode!
V. Waugh c B. Lee b. M. Saunders 37 (41b 3x4 0x6) SR:90.24

Therefore Wallace needs 36+ and has to not let Yogish outscore him by 42+ to keep 2nd spot.

PowerBug

End of over 33 (2 runs) - Red Pig(159-5). 124 runs required from 17 overs. RR 4.82 RRR 7.29
A. Belcher 3 (9b) , J. Philpott 1 (3b) , E. Herman 7-0-24-2

Luigi set for a win!

Oh and btw, FFAL's leading wicket taker won't be playing today PB.

Not sure how Texel takes more wickets than Mamta

Pitch favours mediums so I slotted Harris in to the team instead.

44.2
Dick to King : [catch] King looks to drive through the on side and instead spoons the ball back to Dick who accepts it with both hands.
D. King c & b. P. Dick 2 (6b 0x4 0x6) SR:33.33
King repays the favour:
42.3
King to Dick : [catch] That's the spot to bowl, and he's got his reward. Niggling line just outside off stump, Dick fends at it and is caught behind.
P. Dick c B. Lee b. D. King 6 (7b 1x4 0x6) SR:85.71

Fixed. Yep, i'm scared now.

PowerBug

Mamta has called heads and lost the toss. Wardlaw ponders for a moment before deciding to bat first. PowerBugCC will start their innings shortly.

Both of us happy with that outcome ;)

Well....

1.3
Harris to Wardlaw : Ouch! A great inswinging yorker crashes into Wardlaw's back foot. They all go up in a huge appeal and finally the umpire's finger goes up. Interestingly, not only does the replay show that was going well down leg side, it also shows Wardlaw had limped nearly a whole leg bye before the finger went up. Insult to injury...
W. Wardlaw lbw b. T. Harris 0 (8b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

2.3
Mamta to Tonge : This my friends is what we call a fruit salad. A peach of a delivery from Mamta that cut back onto the stumps, the batsman appearing to play his shot like he'd stepped on a banana skin and was obviously plum(b) before Tonge walked back to the pavilion looking redder than a watermelon.
G. Tonge lbw b. K. Mamta 1 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:50.00

Now it gives Budden and Wallace a shot at scoring tons??
