article pretty much says he is putting the premiership before the brownlow and will have a week rest off soon  :'(

HevvieEvvie

It also sayshe doesn't want to rest and only will if the fintnesss staff tell him to. Just like every player in the league.

cortez

If he is feeling good he'll keep playing. And it's not like they have any hard games until round 24.

CFC 1979

this is why trades are gold during the finals

PICCOLLO

Its not conclusive.  They can lower his training workload and manage him that way too.

This I know, yet every year I con myself into thinking 1 or 2 trades will see me through finals :)
With shadows of doubt over Cox, Yarran, Sylvia and no confirmation Ablett will be back I could be learning another harsh lesson this SC finals season. Not to mention the threats of Geelong, Collingwood and Hawthorn resting players!

charliesheen

resting, could also mean managing his TOG.

probably will still score 120+ with reduced tog lol.

twinkle

the actual story makes me more confident he wont be rested unless injured.

charliesheen

you would think it would have been against PA or GC too.

They were danger games against PA & GC.  ;)

Port looked quite threatening as they went through their banner.

its at the MCG though.  you would think it would make more sense to rest people when there travelling away?

For example.

Gold Coast

Port Adelaide ----> In wet and most showerty conditions?

Pendles will not rest - not until he secures back to back Premierships!!
