ive gone with a fairly similar team to DT/SC  probably more just to get a side on paper and adjust it as needed..
  was actually looking at jack volt,  then came to my senses and decided not too. :) he normally gets 3-4 goals a match thats 40 odd points plus kicks and  marks and bits and pieces, he maybe a chance for 90+ avg.

yep i thought about him too, just momentairily. the madness passed tho. without help from anyone else up fwd he is going to get mobbed again by multiple defenders, not sure his body is 100% yet either needs to be a lot fitter than last season

Don't forget that everyone scores higher with this system. Jack averaged 104 last year (see http://afl.yahoo.virtualsports.com.au/?p=topplayers&sort=average&position=FWD - it has the same scoring system as Sportsbet and it is still showing last years stats) and he was ranked 40th amongst FWDs. Buddy averaged 148.

Agreed, much better off getting an even spread consistently, but in saying that i'm tipping Buddy will still be in most sides by the end of the year, he's one you can rely on to finish the year with a 105-110 avg but you get those duds to, will coaches buy him early at a ultra premium price and start the year with him or hope for a couple of quiet ones early and save 40k-50k.
I think there's been a trend in the last 2 seasons where coaches have looked for the mid/fwds who can kick a goal or two.
Use the Price/Avg they supply when selecting your players as you would in DT and SC and you'll be fine, oh and your footy smarts wouldn't hurt. Good Luck all i think we will do well and i normally don't like to jinx things by making a rash comment.                     FF PackHunters ll has been created as there are so many quality coaches wanting to get involved. This is great more FF leagues on that Top 20 page the better.
