AEPL 2011/12 Round 1 - Teams

Use this thread to list your teams for the 1st round of the 2011/12 AEPL season, once all Trades are finallised.

All teams must be in the formations of; 3-4-3, 3-5-2, 4-4-2, 4-5-1, 4-3-3, 5-4-1, 5-3-2, or 5-2-3 only, plus you must nominate a Captain and Vice Captain.

Subs must be ranked in order of preference to come on the field as well, with the GK first.

Teams must be in by midnight 12th August, no later, otherwise last week's team will apply. Since this is the first week however your team will be created by taking your picks in order of how you made them in the draft and captaincy assigned to your number 1 pick.

Also, teams must be listed on this thread, teams listed on other threads will be ignored.

BTW are you trusting these current Injury updates on the Game Site? it says they are injured, when i have seen no reports of them being injured. And this "50% Chance of playing" is stupid.

So what you're suggesting is that we have no say in picking our teams this week? What if the format is invalid, like BS, he didn't pick 2 GK's until the end?

Also is the unlimited period over? Are we limited to 2 trades now?

Well with the formation thing if no team is submitted I will go through the order of picks and make it so it is valid :)
No it is still unlimited trades this week, but after friday it is 2 trades per round

Crafty Carnies Round 1 Team

GK: De Gea

DEF: Ivanovic - Clichy - Gibbs

MID: Young (VC) - Fabregas - Albrighton - Milner

FWD: Suarez - Gervinho (C) - Zamora

Bench: Robinson, Cabaye, Bardsley, Coloccini

Highly likely that Suarez and Fabregas wont play, but wouldn't want to name them on the bench and then find them playing so named them anyway. Gervinho gets the captaincy, been in great form during pre season for Arsenal and Ivory Coast, plus they are playing Newcastle and those games tend to have a lot of goals for both teams...

I don't think Barton is ever going to play for Newcastle again sorry. And as you can see no club wants him cos otherwise they would have made an offer already considering they can get him for free
