They sent my census form back! Again!!! In response to the question: "Do you have any dependents?"
I replied - "2 million illegal immigrants; 1 million druggies; 1
million unemployable people,1/2 million people in over 100 prisons; Half of Afghanistan; and 535 politicians in Canberra."
Apparently, this was NOT an acceptable answer!!

no if anything its abit over the top. 5% unemployment and the labour force is around 15 million i think so that's around 750,000. If you took into consideration underemployment and hidden employment than it woul be heaps more though.

In all serious though its extremely important to fill the census properly. Economists use the census as a key tool when they are making policy. So if people don't fill in the correct info than people wont be happy with the decisions they make. Im a 4th year econs student and the info from the census are very useful.
