Wonder what our compensation is going to be this time?

PowerBug

You don't get any for him right? It's the free pick they get from every team.

Still get compensation. Woud imagine it wil be a late first rounder? Was a high pick...

Yeah every team that loses a player gets a compensation pick, like it happened with GC last year.

Just found the rules on compensation and it says this:
Quote
As per the rules with Gold Coast, the compensatory pick would be assessed around the player’s age (greater weighting for younger players), club contract ranking (greater weighting for club key players), on field performance (greater weighting for strong club best and fairest performance) and draft position if less than four years experience.
And then goes on to say that a club will either receive a first round pick, end of first round, second round, end of second round, or third round pick.

Going by those rules you would think they should get end of first round or second round pick, cos he is only 20, had been playing well before he was injured and was taken at pick 10 in the draft

PowerBug

Based on that info. End of 1st round pick.

So Adelaide drop Bock after he signs with the Suns, and play Davis, .... and now Davis goes to Giants.

Hmmm...

On behalf of BP...

should of had some rules in place to stop this from happening same as if scully goes you shouldnt be able to lose young good talent, sets up the new franchise at a cost to existing ones and ones that right now probably cant afford to lose anyone

It's a tough blow indeed especially after Bock left last season. 2 Key Defenders just gone :o.

From what I read, Top 10 pick and only 20 so could expect a pick mid-late first round.
