Please lift my chat ban monty

Can anyone help me here? Was banned from chat over a month ago, I'd say for abusive language. Have emailed Monty on countless occasions with no reply. PLease let me back in Monty. I'll be good....

As a chat moderator, I'm also responsible for banning members that break the rules.

Interestingly, your name isn't on the chat ban list. ???

Recently, members have noticed a 'glitch' with the live chat, where they've been seemingly been banned for no reason (and it's not our doing) which was fixed by logging out and then logging back in.

Have you tried this? If so, and you're still banned, unfortunately it is then is out of my control, and you'll have to wait until m0nty gets back to you... :-\

Thanks for the feedback caveman. That is interesting as I thought I was genuinely banned for what I thought must have been swearing too much in chat.

I've been emailing monty for about a month now with no reply. i'll try the log in/out though and see what happens but if that fails i might start a new account as i do like the chat function.

yeh not big on emailing eh.

Tried that log in/out and it didn't work either. looks like im banned for life :'(

there is no such thing as a permanent ban.....

Is the ban list available for members to see?

I'm in exactly the same boat as wcarey, in fact in may have been the same weekend.

I've emailed m0nty 3 times in 3 weeks - gave up last weekend :(

maybe we need to lobby to be reinstated old sheep? or mabe one of the moderators can speak to Monty direct?

We Mods contact Monty the same way you guys do. He seems to have been busy in recent times.
