Ok  I know I Should ask This Question in 2012 But I Am Planning Well Ahead as This Season for me was an Absolute FAIL!! I Have Pretty Much Planned my Team but my Rucks. In My Books Cox is A Defianate Next Season. My Back-ups are Defianately Billy Longer and Majak Daw. But I am Stumped on My Second Ruckmen. Here are My Reasoning's

Martin-Great Player but Will he Be Listed as Ruck

Mcintosh- Only if he Goes to Richmond or Another Team Without A Good First Ruckmen (Brisbane, Port and Bulldogs)

Goldstein- Little Too Pricey and Not Convinced That he Is The Second Best Ruckman in The League

Sandi- Too Tall He Gets Too Many Leg and Feet Problems

Sam Jacobs- Has Found Form But Does have A 50 Every 4/5 Games

Darren Jolly-Never Averaged over 90 So NOOOOO

Mumford-Never Liked Him for Some Reason

Mcevoy-He Has Picked up Some Good Form This Season

Smith- Not Now But Maybe In 2013

roo boys!

If McIntosh does get traded, he would be great value.

Kreuzer? Leunberger ? Johnathan Gillies on the bench before Majak id go with

Generally ruckmen are scoring higher when they do not have a backup in the starting lineup to steal the points. McEvoy without Gardiner and Goldstein without McIntosh spring to mind. So a LT injury to one of the starting ruckman is a guide towards increased output from the playing ruckman. Could be wise therefore to keep an eye out for LT injuries early next season.

Pretty sure Brisbane already have an awesome first ruckman in Leuenberger!!

Spoiled for choices next year.  I wonder if they will change the formula next year to account for the inflated ruck scores we are seeing.

Been playing well of late and Jamie Charmen has had a run in the reserves on the week end so he is on the way back as well and will probably be  a Petrie like value next year.

Billy Longer is Going Great From His Matches With The Northern Knights! Look at Some of His Highlights. He Also Seems To Drift Forward Alot

North Melbournes Finest

Golstein is only going to improve over the offseason, he'll be the premier ruckmen in 2-3 years.

It Defianately Be Tough in 3 Season's Time. Goldstein, Smith and S.Martin Will All Be Stars! Hopefully One Starts Playing Forward So We Can Get Them All In Our Team in 2014/2015

Beat me to it! Leu is certainly on the rise as a Ruckman although not so much Fantasy wise (although could be wrong!).

If McIntosh goes to Tigers, could be quite a decent cheap pick up just like Petrie was this season. But this will have to be seen to at a much later date (trade week).

I like Jacobs as a smokie although would likely go safer in a Goldy/Martin/Smith option. All certainly have improvement in them and it comes down to cost and with Cox, could cost quite a bit. Would say Martin should be listed as a ruck next year considering that's where he's played most of this season, even with Jamar in recently (his work around the ground is just awesome).

*Peace Out Pplz.

Mcintosh won't go to Richmond, they will try and low ball us, and we won't accept anything that they'd accept.

They have those 5-6 players that are untouchable, and then their list turns to crap.

Ok Heres What I'm Thinking Tell Me Whether you Like It Or Not. So I'll Have Rucks That Consist of Sandilands and Cox backed up By Jackson Trengrove(or A Rookie With A Def/Ruck Link) and Longer(Majak In Forward Line) I'll Have Stefan Martin In My Backs To Start And If Sandilands or Cox Gets Injured I Can Use(Hopefully) Martin's DEF/RUCK Link With Trengrove. I Bench The Injured Ruckman and Bench Trengrove(In Backs). So How Does It Sound?

I will start with Cox / Sandi... like every year and with charman and Giles grace the bench. Just hoping charman doesn't play any of the remaing games and has a solid pre-season.  :)
