sandi and hmac for me net year. I like to bring in a guy like HMAC or petrie this year as someone who will score well and make alot of money than i trade them into the top ruck. For me Sandi is better value than cox next year just like cox was better value this year.

So im either going sandi and cox and hmac if he is DPP in the forward line or Hmac sandi and turn hmac into cox mid season.

Both NicNat and Leuy have not had proper preseasons.  NicNat has been playing with shoulder issues all season and is still averaging 90-100, lots of potential.

I think this is Leuy actual first preseason, he has been very unlucky with illness/injuries.  Highly touted, if Mitch Clark goes to GWS, could be next years bolter.  Saying that BL will need to improve their clearances and not rely so much on Black.

Hmac, will definitely need a look at if he changes clubs.

Goldstein is just a beast, but will be very pricey.  Has a high % of hit outs to advantage.

Sam Jacobs has looked good.

Then you would think maybe one of the carlton rucks could break out.  Have one of the best clearances teams.

Then theres Cox/Sandi, pretty hard to argue against guys capable of pushing 120+.  I would say both are pretty safe bets being a top 8 team.

I think preseason will mean everything.  You look at guys like McEvoy who absolutely killed the preseason (time trials/etc), but was not a very popular selection.  So something to think about.

It will all be about the pre season form, but right now I am thinking to stick with the two premium rucks.

Cox, Sandi, Mummy, Goldy right now, in that order. Smokies are Jacobs and McEvoy

I don't think I will be going Cox initially. Cannot doubt his premium status, but he offers no value whatsoever.

Had this thought about Goddard this year, but ended up going against this thought...

Mummy should get better again and don't think think many teams will play two rucks next year, the ruck support/contesting forward position seems to be the most favoured.

Sandi is becoming an injury risk and is not exactly value

Luenberger (or however you spell it!) is an option, as well as Goldstien.

These two with Mummy would fill my two ruck spots at this stage... Cannot wait to construct another team!!

Going to go 2 of these 3 as my starting 2.

Leuenberger, Mumford, Goldstein

All three blokes can play and surely Mumford is a lock due to this years form and is just constantly improving. The choice between Luenberger and Goldstein comes down to Hamish McIntosh. If McIntosh goes I will get Goldstein otherwise it is Leuenberger.

The fun part now is that these three will get injured and I will have to go Cox and probably McEvoy/Sandilands.

with cox being injured atm it would take a very strong preseason for me to start with him in 2012 probably get burger and a ruck/forward if gws give us another tippett :)

Looking at Mumford and Leuenbreger to start with although they may not be much cheaper than Cox due to current form.

Leuy & Giles only locks for me at this stage.  Maybe Ivan if he transfers clubs.

Be interesting if Ryder/Kreuzer get any fwd/ruck MPP's.
