How to improve this team?

I have 6 trades and 72k in hand

How would you strengthen the team listed below:

Gibbs, Scotland, Goddard, Enright, Fisher, Heppell, Stanley (subs week 19 Deledio, Adcock, Lower)

Swan, Pendlebury, Boyd, Ablett, Montagna, Bartel (subs week 19 Goodes FWD, Prestia, Dan Nicholson)

Cox, Z. Smith (subs week 19 Lobbe, Tippett GC)

Franklin, Pavlich, Petrie, Sylvia, Mzungu, A. Krak., I. Smith (subs week 19 ROK, N. Riewoldt, Lynch GC)

Guys in bold are my preferred starters. Goodes as forward though.

im thinking that you will need 1 more premium back like suckling/birchall for when gibbs and scotland have their finals bye. other than that, should be fine. what are you ranked?

I don't think that you nedd to upgrade your team without making it look silly. E.g. if you play Stanley over Heppell and Heppell scores 120+ and Stanley only scores 70. Maybe one more forward for the Petrie bye.

probably upgrade z.smith,  if you are not moving petrie to starting ruck that is.
  smith+72k  im not sure what that gets you, but i wouldnt do a double trade to do the upgrade
apart from that i guess maybe another premium forward.  best would be to sit and hold off until finals though

or downgrade z smith and then upgrade krak or smith to fyfe

similar starting mid to mine, tho I have Thompson instead of Montagna
I think the Krakouer trade to someone like Travis Cloke or Nat Fyfe would be the best idea, downgrade Lower maybe

ranking hovering around 4000.

You could upgrade Krak/Mzungu/Smith and then swap Petrie into your rucks. Personally don't think u need another defender, you have plenty of depth and can play matchups each week, Adcocks found form, Stanleys been scoring well lately, and Lower can go bang.

Mate I reckon save your trades until Petrie's bye and then maybe upgrade Z.Smith. At the moment I don't think you need to change it so keep those trades for LTI's and finals upgrades.
