From memory they made one early with Spud Frawley as coach. 2000, 2001 off the top of my head.

of course we did  ;) 2001 prelim against Brisbane. We only lost by 70 odd points so it was a pretty good game for us  ::). Chris Newman is the only remaining player from that squad left at Richmond and he wasnt even playing in the game i dont think.

It's even more bizarre when you break it down and see that all current teams actually played in a Prelim and had that GF sniff between 2000 and 2006  :o

I think the AFL Arms Race might change that. It really is hard to see the poorer teams ever catching up to the powerful teams in terms of facilities
