I wouldn't touch buddy as a captain this round. He's only broken the ton once in his last 4 against melb (103) and has a highest score of only 107 against them. His form is a bit inconsistent atm, with 2 low tons, an 88 and a 50 from his last 4. A bit risky. For a forward this round I'd be more inclined to consider petrie.

correct me if you believe otherwise LH :P

average for year 106

last time Thompson went against the saints he got 103 and since that time has only fallen below 100 3 times since then....

92 when tagged by Bird last round....

and with the Power and Lions to come after the Saints he could be a smokey for a form revival.....

I'm feeling adventurous so is there any chance of a Pav summary hugs? He loves playing western derbies!

I agree with Zipper on this one. I would never go near Buddy as a captain in any round because he has those games where he gives up too many frees, gets frustrated and plays poorly. I also don't like him against Frawley. However, I have time on my hands to I'll do a full summary on him for ya! ;)

I'll probably be back on him in the coming weeks. Can't so no to Pies players against the Suns and then Mitchell against the Dees if it weren't for the Pies. I expect some HUGE midfield scores from those with Swan, Pendles, Daisy, Ablett and Mitchell this week (I have 4 of 5 so I'm happy ;D)

Just got home from work. BUGGER!
He was going to be my smokey after his earlier game against the Dees. Had a field day then and I'm very unhappy that he's not playing.

I still think this thread is awesome!

What about Selwood this week? Geelong vs Richmond, everyone has seemed to jump off the geelong players as captain options.... but against richmond?!?!
