AEPL 2011/12 Draft Thread (Pick players here)

Hey guys. The official game is now open and all players are confirmed to be playing so the drafting for this will being shortly. To be more specific it will start at 2pm on Saturday.

The draft order has been randomly generated and it is:

1. Fletch
2. BoredSaint
3. Hellopplz
4. Cookie Monster
5. MajorLazer
6. CrowsFan
7. chrisuzz
8. Hawka
9. DG
10. Luigi

For round 2 it will be reversed. Remember to check the rules thread so you understand how it works :)

You currently have 24 hours to take your pick once it becomes your turn, this may be changed to 12 if we are running out of time. However there is a stipulation to this, and that is:

If you have been online since the pick before you has been picked you must make your pick. If you don't, once you have been offline for 2 hours your turn will be skipped

This is to make the draft run smoothly and quickly.

Ok felt like just starting the draft now, don't see much point waiting another hour and a bit.

Fletch has given me his first pick so the first pick of the draft is none other than Frank Lampard.

BS is now up...

Also guys if you're not going to be on the forum for a while leave some picks with someone so the draft can continue on. Probably be better leaving your picks with someone not in the draft cos then they can't steal your picks ;)

If BS is on soon, I may be able to choose my pick :D. Also open to trades if anybody wants ;).

Don't see much point in doing trades yet HP, no one has picked anyone :P

There is always trades to be made! Like Draft picks :P. But usually starts 1-2 rounds in like last season. Lets just hope we can finish the draft before the season which may be an ask!

24 hour skipping again or shorten it down to 12 to keep things moving?

At the moment 24, but may have to shorten if it starts going slow cos we have only 3 weeks before the start of the season...

before I take my pick.. what happens if my player is transferred before the start of the season?
