Good Trade/Bad Trade?

Equal 2nd in my main league but is very tight and a real chance to miss top 4.

6 trades left and $64,300

Need to trade for Shaw but also considering getting in Talia or Coad is picked to free up some cash. (Worried about the insipid Travis Boak being in my mids come finals)

I would think about

Iles > bartel (i know he is in finals but if you finish top 4 and win first round you can dodge it)

and

Heath Shaw > Fisher (this week or next week depending on funds)

If your willing to go down to 2 trades for finals, risky, but you have good coverage with boak M7.

Not a bad idea at all! Was looking at Bartel a few weeks back but the finals bye did put me off.

Trying to crunch some numbers could be cutting it fine. If I go Iles to Bartel this week then I would have 434,700. If Fisher gets his average of 108 then he will be 434,342 next week. That is cutting in very fine indeed.

Could instead maybe go Iles-> Bartel and Duigan-> Talia and free up cash before Talia goes up.

Then Shaw to a cheaper Fisher next week. 3 Trades plus ample cash for finals.

OR Boak (hate this man anyway) --> Bartel & Shaw --> Fisher this week. 4 trades and SFA cash for finals.

I wouldn't be adverse to using Heppel mate.  His going to be rested soon and has a bye in Grand Finals.

IMO, play it safe and use Heppel if you have to.

If you think about it.

Adding extra coverage is like having an extra trade anyway

Unsure how I feel about 2 trades for finals though although I do have A LOT of MPP players for cover.

One other question, are people at all worried about Gaz being rested late in the season? Perhaps Thompspn (cheap as) Griffen, Thomas, Dal Santo, Mitchell, Hodge safer options? Or just back in the higher average and possible massive scores of Gaz?

Could work indeed. Yeh will be short of Gaz just I reckon if i went Duigan -> Talia so would have to be Heppell.

Could even go Duigan-> Talia and Heppel --> Gaz but would leave me with no DEF/MID Mpp;s in my mids. Realy want to offload Duigan though but might have to let that go if I want Gaz.

Seriously considering going This week Duigan-->Talia Iles -->Bartel

Next Week Shaw --> Fisher then Mzungu/Krak to Thompson and leave myself a bit of cash and leave the Jacobs/Heppell combo in tact.

I Would Prefer To Trade Krakour, Jacobs or Lynch (If Your Cap Lets you) Out Instead of Mzungu but Its Your Choice

If you want to skip Ablett, I would definitely consider S. Mitchell, very hard to pass up him during finals.

Would probably take him over Hodge, tbh.

Ahhh okay yeh would free up more cash. So play Lower as D7? Was planning on leaving Heppell there and then trading if I made gf and had trades left.

hmm could get rid of him now though, lower averaging more anyway.

Didn't realise Montagna was that cheap. Could even go him and avoid Bartels finals bye and the go cheaper for last upgrade.

Lower is more than adequate D7, his been awesome.  Much better than heppel.

Definitely Mitchell over Thompson
