Well he's suppose to be the short term replacement playmaker in place of Fab. Should see him play considering how Ramsey hasn't really stood out in the centre.

I'm thinking Merte as well but will depend on price (forgot to check when I went on earlier). I'd expect him to be around 6.0. Will likely see how he stands up in a new look Arsenal defence. But can't say he's not worth the risk considering he can also score some goals from set pieces.

yeah merter looks geat value at six. better than baines, vidic ect.

I wouldn't say Mertesacker represents good value yet. 2 new additions to the defense means it may take a while before they gel and start playing well together and keeping clean sheets. So I would wait a few weeks before deciding to trade him in

What did you end up doing MTTY?

Really annoyed about the site stuffing up in the first round cos it has ruined the FF H2H league! Instead of only letting in 20 teams and scoring starting in round 1 so we play each other twice it stuffed up and now 42 teams are in it! So we don't even get to play everyone once! ::)
