@MTTY

With Vorm are you sure will start? What bout Moreira? Anyways I think Ruddy from Norwich is a safer choice for a minimum Gk in case Given is out and you have to field the 2nd GK. Also your Forwards look a bit weak IMO (probably cause your beefed up mid lol). If Rooney is a late withdrawal you will be stuck with a minimum striker  :-\. Maybe try shave some money here and there and try upgrade a striker to rodellaga or ba. Just my opinion though.

Yeah thats what i was tossing over either Vorm or Moreira. I will try to do that now, will Keane ever play again?

MTTY

Yaya Toure for Ephraim and C.Martin for Odemwingie. How's that?

BlackMamba

Robbie Keane? Don't think so. I think Redknapp hates him. Apparently he is gonna go to LA Galaxy lol.

BlackMamba

TBH I don't know much about Ephraim from QPR. Is Odemwingie gonna be fit?

75% chance plus he is their best striker so i would think he will be fine. Ephraim is second best at QPR's i would say it's either Taarabt or him getting the assists.

BlackMamba

I just read up on Ephraim and apparently he has been playing well in the preseason. I would say Yaya Toure for Ephraim and C.Martin for Odemwingie would be a good move then especially since you already have Silva in the mids.

That Chelsea will likely play a 4-3-3, with both Drogba and Torres starting most likely with Anelka. Would that mean Malouda is less likely to play on field seeing as they will most likely play with 3 CM's?

elephants

Shiit.
Good info, cheers MTTY. Looks like...
Malouda - OUT
Lampard - IN
By the sounds of it drogba has learnt to play as some sort of second striker overthr off season. Torres is out of the first game so Malouda will probe play this week but be fighting next week.

Torres should be fit for their Premier League opener against Stoke.

The £50million striker came off early in Spain's midweek international with Italy with mild concussion.

And although Brazilian defender David Luiz has been ruled out for Sunday's match, Torres is expected to be available.

"Torres should be okay to be selected for the team travelling up to Stoke," said Villas-Boas.

"Yesterday (Thursday) he still couldn't remember a couple of things from the game and from before the game, but he was back in training today and he is up for selection for the squad.

Luiz out
"David Luiz will certainly be out of the game, he has been suffering for quite some time and it will keep him out for one more week, hopefully less."

Villas-Boas revealed he intends to play both Torres and Didier Drogba but hinted he could even go for three men up front.

"Maybe also (Nicolas) Anelka," Villas-Boas added.

"(Daniel) Sturridge is the one suspended from last season but a couple of forwards are threatening for that position.

"We are favouring a 4-3-3 formation in our beginning, that's what we have been playing in pre-season, and we have a couple of players threatening for that central striker's position."

There is all of the article.
