Do I Really Need Talia?

I am thinking I will probably not trade in Talia this week as I think the trade is more valuable. I have 10 trades left and 400 k in the bank. I am sitting 4th in my league but need to win one maybe two of the last two games to keep top 4 My team is almost complete:

B Goddard Gibbs Deledio Newman Broughton Lower Puopolo (Bachelor Lisle H Shaw)
C Ablett Pendles Swan Boyd BArtel Moloney (Bewick HIbberd mzungu)
R Cox Z Smith (J Tippet Thompson)
F Pav Franklin Goodes ROK N Roo Petrie Krakouer (I Smith C Richo Prestia)

THis week I am thinking H Shaw for Suckling and I Smith for T Cloke then before finals Puopolo for S Fisher when he bottoms out. That would leave me with 7 trades for the finals. Any thoughts?

No need to bring him in, take the 7 trades into the finals imo

Agree no need to trade unless you think you may need more cash for final trading in which case I would go either Batchelor or Prestia to Talia.

One additional trade I would look at doing to Strengthen team would Bewick to Hodge or Priddis dependent on cash after other trades. (Get rid of dead wood) May also gain you the extra win you need.

This would leave your finals team looking like this with 5 trades left after all trading: (Have factored in a downgrade to Talia)

you don't need him, but you have to consider whether you think there will be better downgrade targets later on when you might need the cash.

in any event, the two trades you've put up are good options, so much of a muchness.

out of curiousity, what is Batchelor's BE this wk?
they play Cats and he might struggle, so may be better to offload him and ditch Shaw later as Shaw's price isn't going anywhere but weigh up how much Batchelor's may rise/fall ...

Batchelors B/e his 51 and he only scored 56 against GC so that is why the suggestion to off load for Talia if extra cash needed.  Prestia's B/e is 13 and those 2 are the only real downgrade options in the current team.

I think it depends on how many upgrades you plan on doing, and whether you need the coverage from a rookie.

With 400k, and 10 trades, I would strongly consider upgrading Z. Smith, unless you plan on rucking with petrie.
