QuoteAt a still skinny 82 kilograms, Fyfe ranks sixth in the AFL this season in contested marks. To put that in context, he has one more contested grab in 2011 than Eagles star Cox, who stands 203 centimetres and weighs 106 kilograms.

nice 8) go Fyfe for the Glendinning Medal

Really is a star Valk.

Huge chance for All-Aus in only his second year. I don't think even Joel Selwood managed to do that? Could be wrong!

That would be fantastic if he makes AA.  I think he will make the squad of 40

Very happy with picking him up at #20.  Looks like the same story as Michael Jordan in that they didnt get picked for their high school teams but go on to glory.... ok a bit early for Fyfey!!!

You are correct Os - Selwood All Australian in 2009 & 2010 making it yr 3 & 4! Let's not forget he did grab a flag and Rising Star in yr 1 though to make up for it.

As much as I love Fyfey, I wouldn't put him alongside Selwood (yet). But he's a superb player nonetheless!

They did a comparison between Bunnings and Nat Yr. 1 & 2 on Game Plan and Fyfe came out on top in everything but disposals (average) where he was behind by 2.

Wow, never would've picked that! That being said, the Rising Star and a Premiership does give Selwood a bit of an edge. Both should have amazing careers if they can avoid injury!
