Most Important Derby ever?

Is next week's derby the most important ever?

This is the first time i can remember both teams having a genuine crack at a top 4 spot

But yes, best derby ever possibly. Although, there was a year when they both made the top 4 wasn't there?

(btw, we're battling pretty close in DT all week)

I'm not saying that either team will make the 4, but whoever wins will have a better shot at making the 4 and can see that either way its a win for WA football (yeah 2006 they both made the 4 after Fremantle ran off 9 straight wins to end the season)

I dont think we can make the top 4 but it would be good to see Freo/WC at 5 & 6 on the ladder.

Think it would be better 5th and 8th! Now THAT would be the biggest derby

Although the derby ( the Queens English pronounced Daaarby!) doesn't get huge attention over East, it should be a good game.

Nice for it to actually count but I reckon next year they could get huge. As Os said, a final this year is not out of the question that would be great!

I will let this slide..... once. The Derby over here is massive regardless what position on the ladder each team is.

But Valk, history takes time to develop the full picture. Wait until you've had a few finals against each other, then you'll understand the degrees of massive. It will step up even further when even more is riding on it. Personally I hope it happens this year.

Going to be an awesome spectacle one day when my kids are older me and the Mrs will be going to one it' s on the to do list. Atleast not working Sunday so get to watch it home with a few brews cant wait. Hopefully we can get up hate losing to West Coast. As for it being the biggest derby ever we will just have to wait and see I know I will still get goosebumps at the first bounce.

First of all, GO EAGLES :D

Easy for us to forget that Valk, 2 main reasons - You have never played each other in a final...This is generally where rivalries are born.
The other being the match isn't always broadcasted here.
