Is Fisher the best upgrade option for me?

Backline: Gibbs, Deledio, Shaw, Adcock, Goddard, Heppell, Lower, (Jacobs/Hibberd, Tuohy, Toy)

180k in the bank and 6 trades left. Have a full lineup of premiums in all of my other positions, and will probably hold onto my other trades for the finals (I feel like Heppell is worth keeping at this stage, so I probably won't trade him out).

So, I need a good premium back that will play next week and the week after for important league matches I'm playing, and preferably doesn't have a finals bye. Fisher seems to tick all the boxes... should I wait till next weekend to make the trade (Fisher will almost certainly go up in price with a b/e of 72), or trade in someone else?

Cheers guys.

broughton is looking good you just need to make up your on mind whether it is permanent or only temporary untill barlow or mundy get back. I assume your league i would normally suggest scotland but he has the round 23 bye. But besides that there arent too many guys to pick up who will play the next 2 weeks with guys like suckling having byes.

Flame

Yes..I like Fisher and am looking at getting him next week or this week!!

Possumo

Yeah was thinking of Broughton, and since he's also a Freo player I can wait a week on the trade... I think I'd prefer to get Fisher due to his consistency... do you think he'll be able to keep it up? Was keen on Suckling, but I think I may miss out on him... I'll probably lose next week anyway, but obviously I'd prefer to give myself a chance and since there isn't much to split the two, I think I'll just go Fisher. And yes, I'm definitely going for league only!

nostradamus

either fischer this week or broughton next.....both are guns

......l am leaning slightly towards fischer as stkilda seem to be on the improve

.....but its a close call.....go with ur gut

Possumo

Went Fisher for consistency (which is obviously important for league). Broughton is obviously gunning it at the moment, but how could anyone trust him after his horrible start to the season? I reckon he is a chance to keep scoring well, but I don't want to take the risk (as Holzman said the return of Mundy and Barlow could hurt him).

Cheers guys.

bad luck, got tagged out of it today

Hah, yeah just what Monty mentioned might happen :( Pretty ironic too, as I actually had a really good week, scoring almost 2k with 2 doughnuts :P I'm just rapt that I didn't pick up Ablett for Swallow...

Anyway, hopefully from here on out he will be a good pick. It doesn't really bother me that much as I'm only really worried about my league. But it is pretty annoying considering I could have held off on the trade for a week, which would have saved me money or convinced me to pick someone else.

Windigo

As soon as yo usee Fisher with a direct opponent it's safe to say he will get 10 possies or less.

Flame

Yeah..glad i didn't get him this week!! Birchell my be a better option!!

elephants

Fish was saving himself for tonight, it was his birthday today!

I would suggest Birchall after this week's bye. He's a unique and scores really well. Something a little different than Suckling or the Fishman!

Yeah Suckling or Birchall were my first choices, but I'm playing number 2 next weekend, and I'll already have more Hawks out than he will... so I thought I'd go for Fisher seeing as how he didn't have a bye and everyone seemed to be jumping up and down about him. Hasn't scored anywhere near as bad as he did on the weekend either.
