I reckon it's too big a risk assuming that this will be a starting ruck (otherwise do a proper downgrade to Lobbe or other cheap ruck) Who are your other rucks? Might be a better option there.

Capper

i got lucky with Griffin, i did a straight swap with Sandi after Griffins first game.

Would not think it is worth while trading in Griffin now. Look at Lobbe

Ringo

Smith has a B/e of 133 this week so price will fall
Griffin has a be 7 when he returns next week so possibly large price rise.
So if considering would do this week to save cash but of course if going for overall need to consider other options.

While Sandi is out and if Griffin keeps pulling out the big scores he will increase in value and then if needed could be just a single trade to mcEvoy/Goldie or Jamr in finals.

scotty_222

i have cox smith (bailey, tippet/petrie)

Ringo

If you go Smith to Griffin this week you have coverage from Bailey so I would do it.

scotty_222

its either that or go to lobbe

twinkle

only go Griffin if you enough trades to trade him back out when Sandi returns and he is dropped

if he returns
imo i dont reckon hell be back this year grif has been a gun so far very happy with him as a sandi replacment. if u got spare trades do it

scotty_222

i think they will get sandi back to 100% for the start of next season

Bosh

I would go Lobbe. Griffin got 4 hundred's in a row then he got dropped when Sandi came back. Too hard to tell whether Sandi will be back or not so be safe and go with Lobbe.

I suppose it depends on the injury, but I can't see Freo just writing him off for the season, particularly when they will be hoping to make a run at September. My guess would be that they will be cautious after what happened last time and might give him a bit longer just to be sure, but will want to get at least 2 games into him before finals.

I agree they will be cautious but if Sandi is OK and they are a chance at finals they will play him for sure
