see above, who to bring in for rioli?
thx

charliesheen

would take a punt on lecras as a POD who is also byeless.

with Dawes out of the side, im not too sure how this is going to affect his output.  is a bit pricey now too.

Goodes normally finishes strong, but has 1 bye, and everyone pretty much has him.

thiv

am thnking of bringing in lecras after 4 weeks, just before sc finals as a pod as he has tough games for the next few games and then really easy ones after that, right now, i need to bring someone else, probably rok or goodes, but which one?

charliesheen

if cash is not an issue, i would take ROK over goodes, as goodes is spending a lot of time up forwards in some games.

thiv

so rok over goodes? but will he be consistent and get high scores?

just check both their recent scores in fanfooty mate...

more midfield time is generally more conducive to better scores.   ROK tackles more than goodes too.

HOWEVER, thats not to take anything away from goodes, he could potentially finish stronger than ROK.

just go with your gutt on this, theres no right or wrong answer.

why trade out rioli?

its a league bye this week then hawks have their bye next week then hes expected back after that anyway?

unless you are going for overall honers i guess

thiv

just don't think he may be as good when he comes back and i already have franklin + mitchell and puopolo

dominic17

thats fair enuff.... although, he averaged a little over 96 after coming back from his last little hamstring strain and that inlcudes the half a game he played when he did it again. just think you may come to regret trading him out with the favourable run home the hawks have in the supercoach finals. he doesnt seem to have a bad score in supercoach. and if everyone else trades him out he could be a great POD come finals time if you hang tight a couple of weeks? just some food for thought. all those players you have mentioned you would want to trade to really arent producing anything better than cyril had

If you think having too many hawthorb players is an issue, think again.. I saw someone ranked in the top 200 with THIRTEEN.. yes that's right, THIRTEEN hawthorn players. They play their sideways chipping game which in turn creates a safe possession game.. So backmen like suckling etc benefit greatly. Even Fwds pushing up to take cheap marks are getting higher scores. From memory that player was second a couple of weeks ago in sc weekly rankings.. Team name had "hawks" in it.

I'm thinking LeCras as a injury trade from any of my forwards

I agree with this unless you are loaded with trades still left

thiv

got 8 left and just thought rioli might not come back to full fitness

cortez

Hawks won't chance him. Will want him completely fit with finals round the corner. I'm keeping him. Should kill it come finals time

dominic17

He will be fine, he came back last time and spent the whole game in the forward 50 and got 100sc. Honestly don't think you will get any benefit from trading him out but its up to you of course. With 8 trades left surely there's somewhere else you can use a trade to improve you're team
