Mordt played for the second time last night. Batted at 7 as Keeper and Captain. And guess what! For the second time, he went out for a golden duck. Also took a catch. Didn't play well.

Stage fright ?
Most likely.

The first game he had to Open and Keep, and this game he had to Captain and Keep. ML needs to step in as assistant and make some changes  :P
It builds character. :P

Sink or swim sounds like the policy ML is going with :P

Lol Mordt has made a king pair.

Just shows they should've chosen Lalor instead  ::)

Saw that from Mordt this morning :P.

Currie is certainly not in the starting XI but lucky he has played 2 games so far 8). 1st game was 16 from 32. Second game (last night against USA) was 21 from 35 :P. Coming in at 4 both times and seems a little timid as well but was 3rd and 5th highest scorer for NZ in those games :D. Seems as though they will be resting their stars for the next match (as they are already through with 4 straight so far), Currie may play again :D.

BratPack

Elijzen hasn't played yet. But the resting of stars and his pop in bowling but just sneak him into the side tonight.

I like his chances  8)
Its gunna sound silly but why is their 20yr olds in an U19 NAT team? Will they all get moved on once the season starts?

CrowsFan

Yeah maca they were all 19 at the end of last season so they qualify for the u19 comp ;)

Thought so.  :)

Justin Bieber

Currie only FF representative tonight :(. Pakistan batting first so won't see him batting for a while (once again at 4 :P).

6.4 W Cohen to Shabbir : [Slower Ball] Cleverly disguised change of pace. Shabbir attempts to hoick the ball down the ground, but instead only manages to find Currie's cupped hands.
J. Shabbir c D. Currie b. C. Cohen 2 (11b 0x4 0x6) SR:18.18

CATCH!!!! :D.

He's in the 30-man squad for Netherlands but not in the 18-man squad in the World Cup sadly :(. Just looked up.
