Master Q

A place where we can post our players performances in the U19 World Cup.

I know HP has 1 or 2 guys playing, and I've got one. Anyone else have an U19 NAT?

New Zealand won with Currie scoring 16 :). He was the 3rd highest scoring Kiwi coming in at 4 :P.

Not a bad start and his first appearance for New Zealand in a non-friendly Match :D.

Mordt didn't play? :(.

Master Q

Nah  :-\

He'll play at least 1 or 2 games though.

Master Q

Peter Mordt played last night.

Opened the batting and was keeper.

Got out for a golden duck, but made up for it by getting two stumpings.

haha what made it funnier was first ball of the innings. how come he opened?

Sweet Q 8). Remember Currie's first NAT Friendly, Out for a Duck but got 2 catches in return :P. Opening your Keeper is quite a strange tactic. Unless he has the Opener talent and/or Endurance, kinda was expecting to go out soonish that means.

Currie didn't play last night :(.

That does seem very strange considering Mordt only has average endurance and capable batting (versus accom tech/keeping)

At least the team had a win :)

Mordt played for the second time last night. Batted at 7 as Keeper and Captain. And guess what! For the second time, he went out for a golden duck. Also took a catch. Didn't play well.

Most likely.

The first game he had to Open and Keep, and this game he had to Captain and Keep. ML needs to step in as assistant and make some changes  :P
